Our Aultbea - Ullapool Network Upgrade

We’re carrying out a major upgrade of the electricity network in the North West Highlands, helping to increase reliability for all our customers and boost network capacity for the region’s journey to net zero.
The project has been designed to not only increase reliability and reduce the risk of power cuts for existing customers but also, with an eye on the future, we’re making sure our network has ample capacity to meet the forecasted increase in low-carbon technologies as the country strives to meet its net-zero targets.
