Guts, renowned as the "Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded wanderer who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and upholding his attachments to those dear to him.
At one time driven solely by his will to survive, Guts finds purpose in life upon joining the Band of the Falcon, greatly helping in the faction's storied successes during the Hundred-Year War as captain of the band's raiders. He eventually becomes dissatisfied with clinging to Griffith's dream and departs from the band in pursuit of his own. Following the horrors of the Eclipse prompted by Griffith, Guts embarks on a two-year war against the God Hand and apostles, becoming increasingly embittered on his one-track quest for retribution. He in time realizes protecting his regressed lover is more important to him, as well as something he cannot do alone, and thus puts aside his quest for revenge while fostering camaraderie with new companions.

Everyone assumed he'd be doing a raging heavy metal song for this one. The thing is that people tend to forget is that Berserk is at its core a black hearted tragedy. Divide gets it....
It is, but its also a story filled to the brim with anger and desperation, the song doesnt translate that whatsoever.
But hey, as long as Divide likes it, thats what matters. He makes these for himself just as much as he does for us, his fans

That's what this song is about. I agree I expected a heavy metal, rock like song but I actually prefer this since it's basically about guts

Berserk is one of my all-time favourite stories, after the sad passing of the author I'm unsure if the story will ever be finished, seeing this song has reminded me to have hope as people still make new things for it.
Oh damn. Didn't know he died. I was bummed when the author of No Game No Life died. So I get where you're coming from.
While the idea of a story not reaching its conclusion can be disheartening, sometimes it is best such cliffhangers and such remain. To allow us to imagine the possibilities in our own way. In the sense, and hope that should the story continue, and perhaps even reach its conclusion, it is not done in a way that harms what we have come to love.
At least that is how I try to look at such things given some stories I have cherished went on after some time I thought it was over, only to end in disappointment. Tricky thing is though, can never know which way it will go, unless the risk is taken.
I have put reading berserk on hold after about 180 chapters just to see what's going to happen. If it doesn't end up getting finished I'll have to make the decision of staying where I'm at which is a decent "ending" or read it all and be in the cuff with everyone else
May he rest in peace knowing the love we all had for his beautiful story. A story that will never go untold

LOVE THIS, the texture in your voice was incredible and the tone of that lead guitar đ
A story of a Man so broken he's given up on even himself, but he holds onto that sliver of hope, no matter how small it be, lest he gives in to the demon inside.
This song catches Guts' turmoil, pain and struggles perfectly.
Not a heavy metal song that can't hit that emotional damage inside. (even if the heavy metal songs are good in there own rights)

A man who got beaten and broken down by the most evil bits of the world, every atrocity the world had they threw at Guts. But he still gets up, he gets up to fight again and won't back down.. even despite the fact that the price to get back up, was to throw away everything he had mentally and emotionally... everything except his rage
The pressure hit hard and caved in on him a bit, but he powers through in the end.
I know most people prefer a metal version of Berserk, but this is what describes Guts to a T. I love how this turned out, what is to come, who knows
beast in black made an metal album named Berserk, which half of is based on berserk. and it rocks. also in their 2nd album made another 2 songs 'bout it. pretty good as well. My favorites are The fifth Angel, 'bout Griffith and Crazy, Mad, Insane

When I need a quick kick in the soul to remind myself why I keep fighting, I turn to Divide Music. This one hits different, and I love every second of it.
This has anime opening vibes written all over. A wonderful tribute to Berserk. One of the best animes and mangas out there.

Needless to say this was great. When you think "Berserk" you would think of songs for it being metal (Granted some of the music IN the anime was metal, like "My Brother the Dragonslayer"), but this has the feel of what Guts actually had to go through, like instead of being something you march in to battle with it's something you sit down and have the feels for.
Haven't even finished listening but it is AWESOME alreadyâ€đ

The fact that you captured the despair of "gone beyond repair" and at the same time the tenacity and spite of "I won't stop fighting" is perfect. The duality of guts' world is a tragic yet beautiful and powerful story and you have captured it with your own sound. It's sad yet tenacious. Master piece. You deserve a platinum album for this work and many others.

I was honestly expecting the heavy metal i grown use to from the channel but this just shows how human Guts truly is because no matter how you look at him he is in constant pain as a character he can't trust anyone anymore because of his past. As a Berserk fan, i must say you got the character of Guts perfectly, a lot of despair with signs of redemption filled with both action when you hear the guitar and tragedy when you hear the vocals. And the lyrics is just... chefs kiss.

Struggling with everything inside of him and outside around him. This Song LITS UP THE MOMENTS OF GUTS THAT SOME FORGET THAT IS ALSO A PART OF HIM! PART OF WHO HE IS!!

Out of any anime character I respect,itâs Guts,not only he has the one of the darkest backstories in anime,but this man have fought since he was a kid,killed a bunch of demons and got betrayed by his best friend and watched him rape the women he loved,and yet havenât got the urge of giving up after all that pain he went through.What a fucking trooper.
I saw the first series a while back and I enjoyed it and I think this truly captures the spirit of Berserk keep up the amazing work

I've been meaning to start the Berserk series for some time but it looked kind of a daunting hassle with +300 chapters. I decided to start reading it after discovering and listening this song last week. Finished the series couple of days ago, I used this song as a background from time to time while reading. Really "can't describe the series better" is all I have to say about the song. Throughout the journey each line of the song gained far deeper meaning as the story progressed. Thank you for producing such a brilliant piece of art.

I just started Berserk a few days ago (Iâm only just getting past the Golden Age arc, please nobody spoil anything) and this song is quickly becoming one of my favorites of all time. The lyrics hit so hard, and the guitar really does add a feeling of just a little bit of hope shining through the dark.

And the vid is just as good! The flashes of the 100 Man Battle were really well done, and the transition between Guts and Griffithâs first and last duels? Phenomal, in every way. Iâve watched this probably a hundred times now, and Iâll be watching it a hundred more. Absolutely stunning, man.

Two lines really stand out considering the final page of Berserk: "Can you see what's really haunting you... why you feel so alone." Note the "you". I think this might be directed at Griffith, as we see he is the Moonlight Child, which is the child of Guts and Casca possessed by Griffith. The final chapter shows The Moonlight Child transforming back into Griffith and we see Griffith, tears in his eyes, and he looks at Guts, talking about his sense of longing. I like to think that deep down, Griffith wishes he could go back and change things, but cannot, leaving him trapped in a unique hell of his own making. He got what he thought he wanted by destroying what he actually desired.
Berserk is my favorite manga of all time and i love that is never going to be forgotten thanks to videos like this, this was a really good song đđœ

This song sums up a man who's life is full pain and sorrow deep down he's a broken man who uses his wrath and fury to hide how broken he is, but there are sparks of hope here and there. No matter what, he will always fights to find his place in the world full of living nightmares around every dark corner. Magnificent job once again đ
