    Well done! Great real world comparison.
    Just bought the EXT model. Terrific handling and more power than most will ever need.
    The interior is surprisingly spacious especially in the back. The trunk space is the biggest ever.
    The tech is outrageous. More standard offerings than all cars in its class.
    Honda really stepped it up their game from the 9th gen model and pulled out all the stops. They were rightfully embarrassed with the cheap material and seats of the 9th gen and were determined to over deliver in this10th gen. Mission accomplished, Honda!

    Great job on the review. This was something I was interested in knowing. Like another person commented it would have been nice if you coupled the acceleration speeds with times. Also please explain whether your shifting manually in sport or is the engine doing it on its own. Aside from that keep doing what your doing you seem to have an idea on what people may want to know about these Honda’s.

      To answer, the car is only manual transmission, so he has to shift the car in drive or sport.

    My man. Don't take an unowned car through an automatic car wash. You are scratching the paint of someone's new vehicle. There is no such thing as an auto car wash that doesn't scratch the clear coat with micro scratches.

    My son and I both have 2020 Civics, a Sport & a Coupe EX. The handling is exceptional. Acceleration to 60 in the Sport (180 hp) is 7.3sec. While in my Coupe (174hp) I got exactly the same probably because the Coupe is slightly lighter. With 50k miles so far, nothing to report deficiency wise.

    • @garrettprice1231
      @garrettprice1231 Před 4 lety +5

      As far as the horsepower goes I believe there’s only a 16 horsepower difference (158hp >> 174hp). That 16hp difference shaves 1.5-2.0 seconds off of the 0-60 time which is a big difference. I own the EX-T and test drove the EX with the 2.0L engine before deciding on one. Not noticeable immediately with the turbo lag but once it spools up you’ll never buy the 2.0L.

      game hopper it's not, especially with CVT transmission. Look into engineering explained videos in CZcams on what not to do with this type of transmission. Btw, I traded a 15 legacy for the 1.5L turbo manual transmission. Such a fun little car to drive. The CVT on the Subaru had significant delay when accelerating on the highway which raised safety concerns.

    Going WOT on a new engine during the delicate break-in period is not recommended. Fresh from the factory, the engine is tight and all of the uneven surfaces are mating themselves together. Acceleration tests should be avoided until the engine is well seasoned.
