It happened it recently happened.
I got scammed. They told me my mom was being held hostage and her cries sounded so real. The police told me to call the actual person and I did. She told me she was ok. I despise AI with a passion now.
It’s out of hand at this point.
I’d like to hear an A.I Elvis.
And you know the only way this works? the AI has to train on the voice it's imitating.. So, people that post a lot on social media are the victims
They only need 30 second of audio. It can easily be acquired by calling random numbers and recording the call. The original base model and dataset needs to be disgorged and scrapers need to be held responsible for the theft if we want to fix this.
Or the scammer calls you and gets you to say literally anything.
@@Anthony-cn8llIt doesn't work that way dude. AI has to be trained on 15+ minutes of material, you can't do it with a couple of sentences.

Have a code number with your family. If you get a call with strange request ask for that code number. AI will not know that information.
That's really scary I got at least three Dicaprio sending me voice notes lol
I doubt that I would fall for it. when people reach out to me out of the blue or for a reason that is not our usual interaction, I will ask them how we first met or some other detail about our connection that was never shared on social media. One time I someone claiming to be a general in the military messaged me and I asked them where a certain Army unit was stationed and they couldn't seem to come up with a clear answer.
A simple combat technique against these voice cloning scams is to discuss key words or phrases with your relatives and friends. Personally, my family and I have chosen to ask what kind of car (and color) we drive, and if the "voice" on the other end cannot answer it correctly, BOOM! Hang up haha

And people cant understand the actors strike. This can eliminate radio djs, podcasters, etc. Want Wolfman Jack back on the radio? It can happen now. Casey Casem? Anyone...even local talent can be cloned. And everyone in your family.

This a.i. voice clone stuff been out since the 90s if you can remember the movie scream then you would you know its been around.
$1.000.000 but this is fraud to give it for every single victim.
This is why we cannot have free AI

Just a phone call and record
Posibly scanning millions of phone voice audio . Then mimic the sound similar to one of many birds that can learn sounds . About 15 years ago a company said they don’t need actors the computer will generate them .
Be very careful to use voice access through the phone . If you have any ask to change it .
Then how do they know the phone number of their parents?
couldn't have you picked another pic of your mom? I am sure she loves that one! at least you could have made an AI mod to make her smile

_I believe we are meant to be like Jesus in our hearts and not in our flesh. But be careful of AI, for it is just our flesh and that is it. It knows only things of the flesh (our fleshly desires) and cannot comprehend things of the spirit such as peace of heart (which comes from obeying God's Word). Whereas we are a spirit and we have a soul but live in the body (in the flesh). When you go to bed it is your flesh that sleeps but your spirit never sleeps (otherwise you have died physically) that is why you have dreams. More so, true love that endures and last is a thing of the heart (when I say 'heart', I mean 'spirit'). But fake love, pretentious love, love with expectations, love for classic reasons, love for material reasons and love for selfish reasons that is a thing of our flesh. In the beginning God said let us make man in our own image, according to our likeness. Take note, God is Spirit and God is Love. As Love He is the source of it. We also know that God is Omnipotent, for He creates out of nothing and He has no beginning and has no end. That means, our love is but a shadow of God's Love. True love looks around to see who is in need of your help, your smile, your possessions, your money, your strength, your quality time. Love forgives and forgets. Love wants for others what it wants for itself. Take note, love works in conjunction with other spiritual forces such as faith and patience. We should let the Word of God be the standard of our lives not AI. If not, God will let us face AI on our own and it will cast the truth down to the ground, it will be the cause of so much destruction like never seen before, it will deceive many and take many captive in order to enslave them into worshipping it and abiding in lawlessness. We can only destroy ourselves but with God all things are possible. God knows us better because He is our Creater and He knows our beginning and our end.
