I had a scammer call me like this once, so I called the IRS directly, and was told it was a scam. I called and warned my parents, grandparents and in-laws. A few days later, scammers tried it with my in-laws and my mother-in-law called in a panic (they called her about my husband). Every time I kept trying to tell her it was a scam, she kept saying, "Well it sounded real !" I told her, "I have told you repeatedly that it's a scam. And why would they call you about my husband ? The real IRS knows where he lives and it isn't with you." I heard my father-in-law pipe up, "For Christ's sake, it's a scam ! How many times does she have to tell you, before you take the damn hint !" She finally accepted what I told her and moved on.
They tried this with me. I asked how soon they could come arrest me because work really sucked, and I could use the break. I called them 49 times before they disconnected the number.

+Shane Joseph Being new to tech might be a valid excuse, although each passing day that is becoming less and less likely, since it's pretty much everywhere now. Being old isn't, because the people that pull the age card are the same people that will say that they know better because they've been around longer. Hypocritical fuckers. Keep in mind that these older people who are "new" to technology have gone through life with: -vinyls -cassettes -betamax -VHSs and VCRs -walkmans -laserdiscs (at least in japan and australia and some other countries) -dvds, blu rays -and now digital downloads/streaming new my arse.
I must be the only person that never gets these calls from the "IRS". Now if I could just stop getting calls about extending my cars extended warranty.

I actually look forward to when they give me a call. My personal best has been 25 minutes keeping them on the phone. My favorite routine is the "I'm the dumb old lady who doesn't know what I'm doing" and I make them repeat themselves over and over again. I make them wait for me while I find my glasses. I asked them who's going to take care of the 12 children I have here under the age of seven when they arrest me? I've had two of them admit they were scammers to me and tell me that they were calling from Bangladesh and Dubai. I used to get five or six phone calls a day. Now I answer them instead of blocking them and I screw with them and they don't call me anymore. Personally I think that if I'm keeping them on the line with me they're not robbing somebody else so I try to keep them on as long as possible. You have to act dumb, you can't let on that you know they're scam or they just hang up. But if you ever wanted to unleash your aggressions on somebody they're the perfect people to do it to and I usually let them have it!
It’s the “I make them wait for me while I find my glasses” that did it for me 😂😂😂 I can only imagine the look on their face while they waited for you to find your imaginary glasses 😂 Im going to try this next time and have fun with it.

Acted more and more upset and kept saying I can’t go back to jail. He kept telling me how would be “arrest” by police if I didn’t take care if this soon, so he could stop the warrant. I Kept it up as long as I could saying I got my gun now, and if you are sending someone to arrest me, and I’m going back to jail I would kill myself first, I can’t afford to pay, and I can’t do more time in jail, I’d rather die, not go to jail....... He just kept asking for payment and I kept saying I can’t go to jail... I finally told him got my gun ready, (as I walked out to my garage)...lit a fire cracker and went it went off, I made a dropped the phone noise and left the line open......There was a bunch of gibberish on the line, then they hung up. Oh, ya...by the way, nobody’s come yet, I assume the “IRS” thinks I’m still lying dead on the floor, so there’s no “body” to arrest....LOL.

I had these morons call me. I ended up blacklisted by many scammers. I told them I'd call them back, I'm in the middle of cleaning all the blood off the floor of this family, then I gotta burn the bodies and evidence. Never heard someone hang up so damn fast.
These guys need to have their souls snatched from them.
Thank you for all you do. ❤
Whenever a scammer with an obvious thick Indian accent gives me the ol “This is Kevin Jones from the IRS”, I counter with “My name is Mahatma Vinderloo” in a flawless American accent
Love it! Bahaha!
I give them the old "John Smith" in a fake indian accent, they usually hang up after that
This comment cracked me UP 😂😂
Vindaloo wow that's hot. 🔥
😂😂😂😂
This should be brought up in churches, senior citizen events, schools, court rooms, tv shows, etc. These people need to be stopped.
Yes!!! I agree
You'd think it be so obvious to people that it's a scam
I completely agree, I had a internet scam get me. Now my card is frozen and I need a new one. It was an Amazon.com scam. It got me because the web pages looked EXACTLY like Amazons, and I was at the time constantly ordering from them.
@@briantravelman It's mostly the elderly who aren't as sharp as they used to be, and people with disabilities getting caught up in this stuff.
So true! Now someone is talking sense!
I like how he asks so many questions and keeping him on the line so he cant be scamming someone else
My friend got scammed for 15 years and broke her financially cause they always threatened with legal action. Just recently she didn't have money to give them, I ask her where the case number, doc# and she never had any of those. Plus they been texting her and she never once seen them in person. Crazy
The real IRS scam shows up on my pay stub twice a month.
correct taxes is illegal
Gotta work for yourself & put it under an LLC.
Rumpled Trumpskin facts
It doesn't stop there, you can find it at the gas pump and on every recept for everything you buy.
LMAO , WELL SAID !
My wife cursed out these clowns so bad one time that they blocked her number.
That's great. I also called them back once and told them not to call me ever again or I'll report them to the police and the FBI.
Frank Tufo haha I like her style. I done the same thing. I called them back and every time they hung up, I called right back. He cursed me almost as bad as I cursed him. My English was much better.
Hahahaha they try to mess with me and didn't work out for them the poor guy end up apologizing to me..
@@PattyThomas1969 I do that all the time if you can call back most of the time the number doesn't work
Frank Tufo hahaha what a legend
I always say “ police department how am I help you” I get an instant hang up
Give em' hell. I even want law enforcement to go further and create a completely new division to go after scams like this. Not just break them up, rouse them and use all the high tech sophisticated taping equipment you can to bust these leaches of society. They go after the elderly and the dim-witted but still its morally wrong to take advantage of a fellow human being. I support law enforcement with this. You guys should go after them all. We support you! 🇺🇲
Scammer: ma'am you haven't Payed your car insurance on time we have to arrest you
Me being 14 years old: I have a car?
I always get those auto warranty calls too, I block the number but they call through a different number 😂😭
Maaa when did I get a car?
@Liberty Blanco for real, its like if yalls wanna give me a car for free im fine with it
For real 😂😂
LOL, I get the car insurance scams when I dont have a car under my name.
I put my three-year-old on the line to talk with them, hours of entertainment...
Lol!
@@elainevankat5353 I used to do that too. It's even better when the phone is on speaker.
just tell them it's Santa XD
Doesn't seem like it'll end well once the scammer starts with his insults...

I put the phone in the bird cage while I tell them I am getting my credit card to pay..LOL
I am glad this is being aired on here so people are aware of this
They tried this with me. I asked how soon they could come arrest me because work really sucked, and I could use the break. I called them 49 times before they disconnected the number.
Lol🤣🤣🤣
I laughed so hard reading this comment 🤣

Get those scammers, I am high tech for 1978, and do not understand all this, I do appreciate your efforts.
I feel bad for the people who actually get scammed
many people actually
Wolfinq gaming My friend had his parent's credits card and he brags about he can buy sh*t in his games he's 15. He got scammed after he gave his credit card info xD.
+Shane Joseph
Being new to tech might be a valid excuse, although each passing day that is becoming less and less likely, since it's pretty much everywhere now. Being old isn't, because the people that pull the age card are the same people that will say that they know better because they've been around longer. Hypocritical fuckers.
Keep in mind that these older people who are "new" to technology have gone through life with:
-vinyls
-cassettes
-betamax
-VHSs and VCRs
-walkmans
-laserdiscs (at least in japan and australia and some other countries)
-dvds, blu rays
-and now digital downloads/streaming
new my arse.
KFM DUBS I now this is late but I was just talking with my mom about that! Lol
Shane Joseph also on another note thanks to lewis and malcom im pretty sure getting scammed has dropped to 5-10%
I got this call. I told them to go ahead and put me in jail, I could use a vacation.
😂
I told them to deport me because I’m not a citizen and they hung up 😂

The pure fact that the scammer is talking to a cop just is the kicker in itself. Here's your sign.
This is one gorgeous police officer. FYI I’m single give me a call😊
I must be the only person that never gets these calls from the "IRS". Now if I could just stop getting calls about extending my cars extended warranty.
Same, they're so annoying. I don't even own a car lol.
They called and I said “look, my car is 18 yrs old, how long do you think the warranty’s been over? They hung up cuz I interrupted them with that line. I block the number and a few days later, new number, same scam, maybe even same scammer... Really tired of them, they been calling for months
I just started talking dirty to them they left me alone after that.
Especially when the car is new..and they always tell me its for my 2015 mazda..i never have owned a mazda
Oh and the freaking school loans😂😂😂😂😂

The cop’s face was cracking me up. So adorable
This was excellent! How he kept from busting up is beyond me.
LOL
we've gotten a lot less scam calls now. Hubby messes with them too. They may have put us on their Do Not Call List! lol
It’s the “I make them wait for me while I find my glasses” that did it for me 😂😂😂 I can only imagine the look on their face while they waited for you to find your imaginary glasses 😂 Im going to try this next time and have fun with it.
One time I told the extended car warranty scammers that I had a rust-brown 1988 Honda Corolla. I put on my finest southern bubba good-ol’ boy accent and played dumber than dirt. They hung up on me finally when I told them it had 1,000,000 miles on it. 😂
Hey pal gotta love making those acts when you get called up should try going for Hollywood phone scene's
For about 8 seconds he was almost able to hide that Indian accent.
Glad to see that police officers are wide awake with these scammers
These people are ridiculous.. I've had this call so many times lol. I love when they call the police station by mistake and definitely love watching you mess with them back! They are so annoying 😄😄

This is Great Teaching. Thank You.❣️
This guy just pulled a massive UNO-Reverse card
And if that wasn’t enough he also said “No U”
Yea a red white and blue one with a 100$ bill in the center lol
What do you mean, he didn’t do anything?
I got one of the IRS scammer calls saying I owed taxes and had to pay in iTunes gift cards. I listened and played along acting as if getting all worked up about being arrested.
😂
You are my new favorite Super Hero
At least they could have sent one of their "officers" to check on you...how rude!!!!
A lot of people arent gonna read that but cool
Only thing not believable in this is that you had extra firecrackers. Who doesn't use all the firecrackers when they get them????? lol
Love how the cop on the phone was having fun with that call LMFAO 🤣😂🤣😂😂
The way he laughed when he said David maxwell with a thick Indian accent lmao
I’d just respond to spam calls by saying, “Thank you for calling, listener. You’re on the air!”

The law in India could but they choose to leave them alone and take some money from the scammer instead to look the other way.
