Im from Yemen and when you go back visit Yemen again when it’s safe especially in the north west you should go to Ibb, Yemen. It’s the most beautiful city and greenery mountain landscape in Yemen especially during the summertime when it’s greenery. God bless you sister on your trip.

I am from Yemen.. specifically from Sanaa.. I hope you will visit Yemen after the war.. 🇾🇪🥰.. The West has always seen us as insecure.. and this is not true.. the Yemeni people are very tolerant ♥️

Lovely video and great personality. I am from Yemen and thank you for showing our country which many fear to visit. Look up Ibb, Yemen or the rest of North Yemen. That’s where most of the population lives and where the lush green mountains are. You are welcome anytime and I can personally guarantee anyone’s safety who wishes to visit. Also in the video it might have sounded rude when she asked “why did you come here” but she meant to ask it in a curious and nicer way. Kind of saying “why Yemen?” Especially during the war and conflicts.

If the conditions change to where North Yemen is safe for my passport to go, I absolutely will visit! I am currently hoping to make a third trip to Yemen, as Socotra and Hadhramout areas captured my heart!

@@megseverywhere enjoy your trip I’ve always wanted to visit Socotra. hopefully one day things will get better. The amount of ancient archaeological sites in Yemen are enough to compete with Iraq or even Greece. So much history still buried due to experienced archaeologists fearing of working in Yemen. If Europeans didn’t help Egyptians find most of its buried history then half of the Egypts national museum will still be empty. That’s what we need in Yemen. Yemenis are very welcoming it is the last forefront on earth where tribal society dictates the way of life before the government. Even countries like Iraq and Syria the government is in control now. Not in Yemen. We have to see the beauty of that though and incorporate it where the tribes establish a a safe place for everyone under they’re rule. When I am in my village I feel safe and loved being in my ancestral land that has been passed down to me for generations. Everyone respects the elders crime is very low. But every country goes through its misery and I guess ours is now

No, I don't do drugs. But I appreciate that Qat is an important part to this culture, much like alcohol is to other parts of the world! It was interesting to learn about!
