Great story! It still left the question of whether one of their family might’ve took the skin of the skinned in the forest which I thought was a pretty awesome unspoken mystery. It could’ve even been the narrator unknowingly becoming one with the skin he took to the point he didn’t remember...

Wouldnt add up. Skinwalkers need to wear the skin for an extended period of time, and the narrator is just a child.

I know that native Americans don't talk to outsiders about skinwalkers because they believe if you talk about them they would come and get you. But it would be a huge twist if the brother is the skinwalker the whole time.

It was a brilliant choice I have to agree . I love Hellraiser!!! The movies are fantastic even though some people don't like all of them . I think there's something interesting about all the movies. I've got my origional Hellraiser Figures. And about 4 t-shirts and a jacket with hand painted design on the back my friend who's a clothing designer did when she was just starting out about 20 years ago as a birthday gift for me. She did such an awesome job that when I occasionally wear it ( not so often now as I don't want it damaged even though she's offered to make a new one for me . I don't want to get rid of it as it's awesome you'd never know it was 20 years old or a designers early work ). She's doing well in the UK were we are and in Europe. She makes clothing especially for goths and for cosplay . It started out purely as making Halloween costumes for her and I when we were about 10 or 11 after he grandma taught her to sew and use the sewing machine she had (she lived with her grandmother) . She went from making basic stuff to mind blowing stuff that had other kids we knew begging her to make clothes for them too . So she did ..... For a bit of money so she could get the items needed to make whatever it was and a bit extra for her time and ideas etc . I was so proud she was my friend. Now I'm over the moon at 46 were both still best friends and she still makes our Halloween costumes for our yearly London Holloween Ball we've been going to for 25 years. I look forward to it for months before each year as we work out what we're going as and as she makes them we spend time taking about what crazy stuff well get up to at the Ball. It sounds really fancy but it's actually really chilled and alot of fun . We always make new friends and catch up with others who travel each year just to come to the Ball. People come from all over the world and it makes it so much more interesting. Cause of my friends work she gets two free tickets each year and she has friends that she could take other than me...... But I'm so glad I'm the lucky one she lets me know each July when she gets the invitations . I can't wait for this year's one.... Our costumes have just been finished. I am over the moon.

I just finished my Midnight Hour Creepypasta comicbook. I just wanted to say 3 things.
1. I love all the creepypasta easter eggs. The slender man poster, the Myuu poster and the CreepsMcpasta bobble head (which was absolutely adorable and I wish was a real thing).

Spicy moon other narrators started Tales From the Gas Station, but I just can’t listen to them. No one will ever do that one as perfectly as MCP. And the girls he’s had do the 24/7 radio station and Lily Madwhip stories have been absolutely perfect narrators for those too!

Atriox I think that is someone else’s writing other than the og author and that’s why mcp might’ve decided not to do it or maybe he just hasn’t gotten around to it.

My question is if a skinned is looking for the skinwalker that stole it's skin then why did it attack the mc of the story. If as the brother said "skinwalker's loose themselves and become more like the skin they wore." Is it possible that the mc is actually a skinwalker and the skinned was the real mc? I don't know. I'm just confused I guess.
I think mid story the MC got snatched by a skinwalker. That hour he was lost in the woods? Stuck? Losing track of time? And then the looking at him saying, “give it back”. Dead ringer.
Its ability to rationalize was rapidly deteriorating. It would have seen anyone WITH skin as the one who took its own. The concept that other people have their own skin wouldn't connect.
I listened to this about a year after it came out I think, and it's actually one of the few stories to actually give me a full on nightmare! Absolutely amazing story telling and I HAD to come back to this at some point. This is the story that actually got me interested in the Skinwalker legends to begin with. Props to you MrCreepyPasta for your amazing as ever story telling, and Props to the Author for his horrifying and interesting story!

I almost never have any criticisms about these stories bc they are normally very well written. This one is good too but there are a couple things right at the end I cannot get my head around.
You're telling me after this whole ordeal they didn't immediately leave the area? Like oh, our son was almost just killed by some kind of horrific paranormal entity...so naturally we'll just stay right here where the incident occurred and catch a few winks before we head out. And nobody heard or felt this thing crawling all over the RV?

Tbh this really could use a revision and maybe a rewrite. There were a few repetitively verbose sections that really could have been more concise and the end really left you wanting more and not in a good way. It felt like there was ample room for a twist that wasn't taken advantage of and if there was a twist it wasn't very clear. Overall fantastic story but ultimately it feels like a draft.

This story is sooo hard to follow, he’s just standing there in the forest having a panic attack??
He got lost and was experiencing dead silence in the middle of the woods. That shouldn't be possible. Even if all the wild life was scared into silence, he should have heard the wind blowing through the trees. It was either a panic attack or some sort of instinctual urge to freeze in place so he wouldn't draw attention to himself. When the sound returned, he was able to move again.

Not only that but my dad was pretty nonchalant on the movies he would watch when watching me. Even though I would watch tapes of Barney and Land Before Time I also remember watching movies like Hell Comes to Frogtown, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and Nightmare on Elm Street. By the time I went to preschool I probably saw more blood, gore, and tits then anyone who worked at that preschool.
