They were brought to Hyderabad as cavalry officers in the Erstwhile Hyderabad State Army ( Nizam State). 3. There is a place in Hyderabad called A C Guards ( African Cavalry Guards) exclusively developed for Siddi's by the Nizam State . 4. Siddi's have always been part of the Elite society in the Hyderabad State as their community was known for courage and skills

You want to know the atrocities made by siddhis on Konakanis of Maharashtra, read history of Janjira. They used to cut our noses and sell us to Arabs. There were good Siddhis also. Some of them faught for My king Shivaji against Moghals. Famous maratha anthem "vedat marathe veer daudale sath" meaning 7 brave soldiers sacrify their life, one of them was siddhi.
