Who remembers the traffic lights that used to be on the highway in the Valsayn area? It used to cause a lot of traffic. Now there is a more modern highway system but at a cost: they took away the beautiful large trees that were at the center of the road way. Kay Donna, the drive through cinema, was also removed. Maybe, this drive through will bring back memories and help you to see what it looks like. There is more to Valsayn South than Valpark.
I remember Kay Donna, kid's playground at the back, center building where we buy food and drinks and a parking area that had slopes in it. Use to bring my skateboard in there. Nostalgia man. Thank you
Edgar, glad to bring back some memories. Please feel free to let others know so they can come to watch and Subscribe for free .
I remember Valpark and the shops on there, Mario's, Squizums, Sports Arena, chinese restaurant etc. I recall a pub as well that was left most at the back and a barber shop. Thank you for sharing
Edgar, thanks for sharing your experience. Where are you from?
I love the mini round-abouts
Kebre, thanks for your input.
Thank you for your contribution in showing not only the people that are abroad but also the Trinibagonians that don’t see these places due to distance💯appreciate what you do!

Thank you for the video. We lived at marauana road in 1980. We had moved there from the US. This was great to see our old neighborhood.
Ravi, thanks for sharing your experience of Valsayn South. Please edit out the number, you can leave the street name.
I quite enjoyed this. It sure looks like a different place than i remembered...but then again it was the early 80's..i remember my dad and his brother use to go to a discotheque in that mall you mentioned Valpark. I forgot the name it was very popular back in the day..late 70's early 80's. He use to always talk about it. His brother use to live in Valsayn until he and his family left in 83 to Shepherd Bush London. Nice one brother. 🔥🤘. Gr8 content..keep it up.
Monsieur, can't say what the name of the disco was but there used to be a cinema in Valpark that was regularly patronized.
@@JBsManCave ....i can't remember the cinema at the mall...but i do remember my cousins taking me to a drive in to watch a movie...that was not far from them..by an intersection. I forgot the name..
@@monsieurmike2072 the drive-in cinema was called "Kay Donna". Unfortunately, that was closed and removed a long time ago.
@@JBsManCave Yes that's the name of it. Probably you can do some research on the disco that was in the mall if it's no bother. My dad and his brother always said it was a great spot with gr8 music. I would have ask him and my uncle but both already passed on.
