this is one of the most beautiful lamp I ever seen 😲
It is pretty cool, it looks even better in person.
Its pretty good present, i printed the small 80g Version with a 3 color module 8€ and battery rechargeable.
It glows 8h i give it to friends as a present they all love it.
Awesome solution with the lightbulb, what make is it? And thanks for sharing that nice video 🎉👌🏽
Thanks! It's a LUMIMAN light bulb. You can find it here: amzn.to/3Lgk1gz
@@3DPrintStuff thanks champ 🤙😃
@@Elmelund69 No worries, anytime
Great job. What colour filiment did you use?
⚪ White: amzn.to/3dHRjH5 for the moon
⚫ Black: amzn.to/3rZGKao for the base
Great part👍. How many wall lines do I have to set and how thick, 0.4mm?
Pretty sure I printed this with a 0.4mm nozzle with 2 walls and 100% infill. 0.2mm layer height.
@@3DPrintStuff Thx for the info👍
Did you use 1 layer? In vase mode?
No, this is multiple layers. I can't use vase mode when creating the timelapses so I'm not sure if vase mode is possible on this print.
How many moon lamps you can print with 1kg filament ?
Each moon is 265g, 1kg/265g = 3.77.
You could almost print 4 but you would have to add filament from another spool to finish the 4th.
@@3DPrintStuff thank you ❤️
can the moon be personalised with a picture?
lithophanemaker.com/Lithophane%20Sphere.html this site will let you make spherical lithophanes. If you know how to edit stls you could combine the moon with the sphere created on the site.
This is sick 🔥 how much did it cost to make one ?
If you have a 3D printer it’s free for the moon but I’m guessing that the light bulb and stand is at least 10 bucks
All these dollar amounts are in Canadian:
3D Printed Moon = 226.7g @ $25 per spool (1kg) = $5.67
3D Printed Stand = 39.4g @ $25 per spool(1kg) = $0.99
RGB Light Bulb 2 pack = $16.94
1 bulb = $8.47
Pendant Light Power Cord 3 pack = $60.41
1 cord = $20.14
So overall it was 5.67 + 0.99 + 8.47 + 20.14 = $35.27
I'm sure you could source cheaper 3D printing filament and cheaper components on a site like Aliexpress.
@@3DPrintStuff thanks 👍
@@ankitkapadnis780 you’re welcome.
for me it was about $20 (US)
~$7 filament (esun white, 250g)
$9.75 cord, switch and lamp mount (ikea)
$3 LED lamp (ikea)
What kind of light is that
It's just a RGB LED light that you can control from your phone: amzn.to/3Lgk1gz
can we use pla to print?
Yup, that’s what I used in the video
@@3DPrintStuff thx bro i got gf by that moon lamp
Its thé same with résine ?
I've never seen people make lithophanes with resin... I don't see why you couldn't. Try it and report back? This would require a very large resin printer.
@@3DPrintStuff Thank you, do you have the file?
