I was in South Korea when this all started and I can tell you that the Korean media made it the biggest news in the country every day and it was horrific. No other story mattered and the accusations were insane. So I get exactly what Boracity mentions. I stand behind HYBE and forever will stand behind BTS who don’t deserve any of this nonsense. I hope HYBE takes down every last one of them and I hope MHJ goes down in flames for being ruthless and greedy. I totally love how ARMY always backs the members and shows the world we cannot be defeated by streaming new songs and organically growing the older ones. And we can all just hope that the South Korean government takes a good look at who the real “bad guys” are and finally gives our “7 ENLISTED men” the respect they deserve without asking anything in return 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

As an ARMY I fully support my boys and at one point supported the 👖 members as I felt they should not be involved in adult matters. However now that they and their parents have submitted petitions to the court in FULL support of 🧢 I retract my support of them. I will not be subscribed nor take part in anything concerning them as that was them basically spitting in the 7 course meal they were given on GOLDEN plates, on a well lit beautifully decorated GOLDEN table in the castle BTS built with their BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS. THE PARENTS should have known better as no person is worth sacrificing your child or their career over. I GIVE MAD RESPECT TO BTS PARENTS, THE TRUE RIDE OR DIE.

The way my mental health skyrocketed after uninstalling Twitter, it's nuts. I can't go back. There are a lot of good ARMY there, but wading through the miserable bits of that website is unreal sometimes. That whole platform is built to give you brain worms and break your soul. 😵💫

I recommend reddit for army stuff, since twitter is so awful. I don't really like reddit as a whole, but r/bangtan and r/bts7 are really fun chill places where you can stay up to date and actually have in-depth discussions without all the chaos.

And I would notice _every time_ once I'm off it that it would start out fine and then take a _skydive_ deterioration and I leave upset and with a million more things in my head than before i went into it. According to the leaked MHJ/VP L kkt chats. The planned smear campaign against Hybe was scheduled to start around April. So Bubblegum wouldn't have been part of it. However How Sweet falls in that particular timeframe. RM scheduled his comeback of Lost first. Then Ador decided to release the How Sweet comeback the same day as RM.
MHJ probably expected the planned BTS smear campaign to have some effect on RM's comeback and give her more negotiation power since NJ did better than him. Problem is that kinda backfired on NJ. Locally, NJ two songs are doing great. They're like #2/#3 on the charts. Internationally, there's been a big decrease. How Sweet is their worst performing title track on the Global Spotify debut charts. Bubblegum didn't even chart.
What MHJ actually managed to do was alienate the international Army/Hybe fandom who casually listened to them on Spotify.

Literally saw them on my recommendations and automatically skipped. At first I did listen to 👖 casually if it only popped up, but I personally never sought their songs out. However, no longer am I even going to engage due to the mess they made. I know the girls might not be in full control or whatever but sadly they are a part of it now due to their boss and so as long as she is backing them up I won't be supporting. That's just my take on the group.

something that people forget, nj doesnt actually have that big of a dedicated fanbase, they rely heavily on casual listeners/general public for their songs. since mhj keeps mentioning them/ connecting them to herself + the members themselves supporting her, casuals/ multi stans will avoid that group during a time like this. i never listened to them to begin with, except watching a new mv once to check it out, but i definitely did not do it this time lol. they dug their own grave by making the group so closely connected to mhj. now if id watch their mv, you cant help but think of that woman. nope, zero support for any of them.

I, too, believe she planned this for during their military services, and she probably didn’t think through that the whole world would be staying tuned to catch the bs. However, I don’t like to think that BTS can’t defend themselves because one thing BigHit is going to do is protect their artists. MHJ/ADOR was asked about her/their opinion or do they have any problem having the same dates as RM's RPWP album which was being planned/ made even way way before hobi enlisted (namjoon was supposed to get enlisted with hobi, but he decided to push it back as he was working on rpwp). They responded they don't care having the same dates as RM's new release, they will be also going with the same dates. SO THAT'S THAT.
(what I got from this response is that, 'yes we're going to be releasing our music as the same date as RM, so what? let's see who the 'BOSS' is? as of right now when BTS is not around. I felt like they wanted to prove that HYBE's 'next BTS' is new jeans and to prove that, mhj wanted to compare them to RM by showing the world the charts and all. which side note, RM'S is globally ahead in the streams/numbers than newjeans.)

It's beyond me how to this day some people still believe the whole rumour about the chart manipulation. They simply can't comprehend that there are in fact artist out there who works hard for their achievements so chart manipulation is the only thing they've to go with (maybe because their fave is a bit sus so they think everyone is sus?). My go to are CZcams and Spotify for streaming , streaming is really only listening to music that is NOT downloaded.💜

The thing is. I think it has always been that she wanted to take HYBE down. Even before she joined. I think she is jealous. I mean only 2 years she was already demanding a contract change. She kept saying during the press conference that it wasn't about money yet in 2021 shebwas demanding the contract of ADOR to be changed. She wanted her 13x what the stock was worth to change to 30x of what they were worth and she wanted HYBE to change the contract so she could sell without HYBES permission. That is were this started. It started before NJs basically started. She wanted to take ADOR and NJs and be on her own. Once HYBE denied her she started all this stuff. I believe that when the 2 investors met. Or Naver and the other one. They reported the meeting remember and that's what started the internal investigation. And when she found out that HYBE was going g public she had a plan to do exactly what she did with the press conference. Remember she knows what she was doing. She was PR at one point and knows how to get peoples attention hense the tears and clothes she was wearing. Tell me why a wealthy CEO would dress that way in a press conference if not to gain attention. Sadly Korea is so conservative and nieve to shit that the believe it but if you look at international its different cause we can smell BS a mile away. But she still can't take NJs b3cause their contract would be up yet even then. But when she gets demoted she won't working directly like she has been either. She is trying to hurt HYBE in the stocks. She wants ADOR to become a shell company so she can buy the shares of it. This whole thing has been being planned for years. And I think it all started for when her contract neg were denied or maybe before that. She must of had a plan and that's why she wanted to neg her contract after 2 years. She wanted to be on her own and not share in the success. She said the succeed b3cause of her not because of the girls yet they still stick by her. SMH brainwashing at its finest with these young girls. Other HYBE sublabels and producers like PDogg and SLOW RABBIT also submitted patitions to get her out of there. Remember PDogg and Slow rabbit has been part of BIGHIT from the beginning. They are as much part of HYBE as BTS. BTS was gifted shares to HYBE so yes they own part of HYBE and 2% may not seems alot but they get voting rights. So yea. I really believe this woman is evil and crazy. Feel like I'm going to regret asking, but the people in this situation who are anti-Hybe (not MHJ supporters, but who are in an everyone sucks here mind set) what exactly are your reasons for it? Is there something specific that they actually did? Or is it just a general "there is no such thing as a decent business of this size" kind of mindset? Because a lot of the time when I see people getting pissy at Hybe, it's for things that they have no control over, for making generally sound business or legal decisions or for things that are more of the fault of a specific sub-label? Like what's the beef?
Like so far, the only thing I feel like Hybe has done wrong was give MHJ way too much freedom and patience, which would have been praise-worthy for any entertainment company if she wasn't so greedy and self-entitled. For the record, I'm not a company stan, and I will always support BTS and put them first before any company, I'm just generally not seeing much that Hybe has done wrong right now.
I agree, I've not seen receipts to back up why people have such hatred. What little reasonings people give is usually things the label is responsible for or they are just jumping on the train from what either solos/mantis/antis and even boycotters have been spewing. And don't even get me started on 🛴guy nobody likes that guy he is not a good person but legally not much they can due to "kick him out" unless he committed a crime against the company itself like MHJ. Personally, I saw a lot more hate or anti-Hybe being spread after Festa 2022 and the announcement of BTS hiatus. Solos became really bad and very vocal, cosplayers seemed to double their efforts. A lot of people want to create division among army including people like MHJ who's goal has been to destroy Hybe which to her equals BTS because they made Hybe, there is no Hybe without BTS.
I guess it's more of their frustration with big corporations for what they have to go through on a daily basis which they are projecting on HYBE now just because it's a big corporation. At least the peanut sized brains of a lot of S.Koreans are thinking that way!
