Life stops for Suleiman in Hürrem's absence. While, Hürrem's children grieves after her death, Suleiman leaves his magnificence and falls into silence. Everything changes in the palace. Selim wants Rüstem to take his own side. Rüstem gets cornered by the big secret Selim learns about him. A new war begins between Nurbanu and Defne. Mihrimah suspects that Rüstem and Gracia are having an affair and threatens Gracia. Selim tells everthing he had with Bayezid. As Bayezid tries to defend himselfi he gets betrayed. Mihrimah finds out about what happened and confronts with Selim. Suleiman inflicts a meaningful punishment on Bayezid. Bayezid gets subjected to injustice and shows a red flag.
An eternal winter begins for Suleiman after Hürrem's death. Suleiman leaves the magnificence in palace and falls into a deep silence. Hürrem's death will change not only Suleiman's life but everyone's. Bayezid loses his biggest support after his mother's death. However, Selim wants to take Rüstem on his side. Rüstem gets cornered after Selim finds out his secret even though he is determined to stay loyal to Bayezid. Nurbanu declares her era has begun. Nurbanu gets shocked by what the fortune teller who has oracled to Hürrem tells her.
At the age of 26, when he ascended to the throne, Sultan Suleiman aimed to build an empire more powerful than Alexander the Great and to render the Ottomans invincible. Throughout his 46-year reign, he became the greatest warrior and ruler of both East and West.
The young Suleiman received news of his succession to the throne during a hunting party in 1520. Unaware that he would be ruling a reign beyond his dreams, he left behind his wife son and took to the road with his close friend and companion Pargali Ibrahim to reach the Topkapi Palace in Istanbul. As they started their journey overland, an Ottoman ship set sail from Crimea in the Black Sea, bringing female slaves as gifts for the Ottoman palace… On this ship was Alexandra La Rossa, the daughter of a Ukrainian Orthodox minister, taken away from her family and sold to the Crimean palace. She had no idea that she would become Hurrem, wife of Sultan Suleiman and mother of princes, ruling the empire with him through bloodshed and intrigue.
As Sultan Suleiman conquered the world, his great passion for Hurrem would clash with his love for and trust in his closest friend and advisor, Grand Vizier Pargali Ibrahim, all set against the backdrop of the tension between Christian Europe and the Ottoman Empire in the 16th century.

Mendez did put herself in harm's way when she decided knowing he law, and knowing he was married to seduce him. He knowing also the law decided to cheat. They all are wrong but it doesn't change the fact that Mendez knows the danger and yet put herself in a position to risk her life.

Mihrimah was not forced. Her father let her decide on her own whether she wanted this marriage. Finally that was her choice and she made it.

I don't blame Rustem for the affair after the disdainful, dismissive attitude of Mihrimah, especially as she persisted in her arrogance over a number of years. She also has the effrontery to flirt fairly openly with Pedro, & simply doesn't have the foresight or perspective to understand where her actions might lead, nor does she seem to have any empathy for Rustem's feelings. Anyone might resort to an affair if treated this way for so long.

First of all, Rustem didn't treat her paticularly well either and was arrogant to her as well. He was incredibly controlling and at moments down right abusive towards her. He was also very manipulated. He also claimed that Mihrimah's power came from him even though it was his marriage to HER that got him on the council. So by your own logic, Mihrimah shouldn't be blamed for flirting with others considering how she was treated especially since she never wanted to marry Rustem in the first place while Rustem wanted to marry her even though he knew she wanted someone else even before their engagement.
Second of all, it is pretty sick to blame the partner for the cheater's actions. Both treated the other badly but, that's not an excuse to cheat or be abusive. If you're going to make excuses for one of them, you better be understanding of the other in scenario.
So he cheats on her, but is still the woman fault? Even when Mihrimah never slept with anyone but him an Rustem manipulated the events on such a way he could marry Mhrimah. Ok.

That Humasah (in Kosem series who's Safiye's daughter) you're talking about was born 24 years after this Humasah (Humasah Ayse, Mihrimah's daughter). If Mihrimah's daughter had been shown in Kosem series she'd be an aunt to Safiye's Humasah and her siblings. Safiye was a few years junior to Mihrimah's Humasah. 😊
