    I just brought a second hand 5’11
Where I surf is usually under 3ft 90% of the time.
Wished I had of brought one years ago, can’t believe how good it is….such a good board!

Great review. Every time I do not have to carry my longboard over the huge wave at the French Atlantic coast, I am happy about my 5'11" BP ;-)

that's right mate! catch waves like with a mal but using a smaller more agile shape. Many thanks for the positivity. Enjoy the BP! -KS

Thanks for the review, I definitely agree with your description. I have a 5'9" and it gets going in super small, crappy waves. All about fun. I agree the tail is wide but interesting it still feels loose.
I tried the Rasta quads but felt the fronts are a bit small. Have some large twins in the front now and kept the Rasta rears and it feels good. Keen to hear if you've tried other quad sizes. Also found a flat or foiled rear fin gave a bit too much lift and went back to the 50/50 Rasta quads. Cheers.

hey mate, good to hear you're having fun experimenting! definitely worth doing to make the most of these type of boards. i've actually tried little nubster rears with more upright fronts and found the setup to be really fun- can be nice and slidey at the end of turns on fat sections (if that's what you're after!) thanks for the positive input and sharing your experiences so far with us. enjoy! cheers -KS

I’ve found it seems to like bigger front fins, I put the Dayne Reynolds fins in the front and basic performer rear quads in the back and it’s great!!

I own a Chumlee. Great little board. Dan Mann realy knows how to make small wave rippers.

Timbertek boards are very beautiful indeed! I got the Machado Creeper in this construction. Unfortunately it got a ding on a flight. Have you done any ding repair on Timbertek boards? Maybe that would be a topic for a video? Thanks for your content!

Thanks for your reviews! I had a Baked Potato 5.9 wich I loved...I swapped it for a brand new Twice Baked same size. Haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I just to love my BP. Was the right choice?

good question mate. i guess as usual it all comes down to personal choice, especially with the tail designs. i love my BP because it's very fun and i've had great times with it, but the TB is more refined and tweaked for a little more performance in my opinion. i think if you loved the BP you'll be very stoked on your new TB and happy with your swap for sure. enjoy! -KS

    Great review.
I just bought a sweet potato. Hoping to use it tomorrow for the first time. I'm 47 and have been out of the water for 20 years due to a back injury. My fitness will be rock bottom so I needed to get something that paddles easy.
    I'm so excited. 😀😀😀
