  • I installed the creative steel bushing for my CTS-V2. It tightened the car up for corners on the track! The car has been on the Nürburgring with these bushings and performed well over my expectations. The link below is where you can get a set for your car. They have awesome customer service!

    Good tut man. That's the best one on the creative bushings install I've seen. Will definitely refer to this when I eventually do mine.

    Nice video. Wish you posted this awhile back when I did my upper. Now I need to do my lower. Solid vid!

      Make sure you mark the bolts or get an alignment done! The ECU will go crazy if you are off on the alignment!

    From what I’ve read, you should use soap to put the bushing into the arm, it’s not supposed to move or slide in the arm..only the inner part should be greased, as it’s the part that actually moves during operation…

      I have not had a problem eather way.

      @@PocketsAutoList I like your videos, not knocking anything you’ve posted…but without actually seeing what’s going on with the suspension while in motion…(one greased inside and out, the other only on the inside)…it’s hard to say whether it’s functioning correctly……I’ve talk to the manufacturers and they all say grease only the inner parts that actually do the moving…I’m glad you haven’t had a problem, with your install…keep up the great work!!!

    Thanks for the great tutorial! I was actually trying to press the bushings out from the wrong side and wasn't getting anywhere until I came across your video. Thanks again!

    You jumped past the one that causes all the issues. 😂

    Question. Are these bushings compatible with the 2011 STS? The top hat and upper control arm looks very, very similar to what the STS uses, but the bottom control arm seems quite different. Our sway bar end links are in different places, for instance.

      I would get with Creative Steel and see what they say.

    Have you had any issues with the rear bolt on the front suspension lower control arm slipping in the subframe?

    Are you saying the ball joint HAS to be replaced to do the lower bushings?

    • @PocketsAutoList
      @PocketsAutoList  Před rokem +1

      I’m not saying you have too but I had a hard time getting the ball joint off and I ripped the boot. So I went ahead and replaced them. As you can tell, I used a pickle fork. I tried to use a clamp over system and it was to small. I had to wait over three weeks for the ball joints.

      Moog. I was doing this in Germany and it took three weeks because of shipping overseas
