This was the first NERD album I listened to and I thought it was great. It wasn't until I listened to their other albums I realised this isn't as good as their first 3 albums. Still a good album. Production is great too.
Why do artists always make it seem as if their album has some deep meaning, or the album sleeve has a meaning to it. They just do what looks good/write what they like. There aint no significance.
you can tell which albums are just for making money and what actually came from the heart of the artist. but the truth good records usually come from deep places...painful angry and happy places. so yes to them their records have deep meaning they are not acting.
The bass and the drums sound so dam crisp and glorious in this. The entire performance is awesome. N.E.R.D. is 1000 times better live.
