- Welcome to the deep sea! I hope y'all are ready ARRRR! Todays video is part of a very special collaboration with some of my CZcams doll artist friends. The theme: STEAMPUNK! It was so exciting to make a doll on that topic! Octiavia Aurum comes directly from the deep sea and will hopefully deliver you some fun time watching! She is stunning! I really love everything from head to toe, but I say that for every doll you make lol. She is already so magical and the LED lights pushed her over the edge! (DAD POWER YESSS haha) I LOVE the color palette and she's such a unique mix of steampunk, pirate, and your special touch! Octavia is one of my new favorites from you too! :D

I LOVE the color palette as well! She did a good job on making the outfit fit the face. The gold really spiced it up and I think it took it to another level. I subscribed to Dollightful and Moonlight Jewel and so on. What you could have added Moonlight some lights under the skirt so it looks like she has some powers. I hope you like my feedback as well as my comment love her she is so under the sea and steampunk also she is so beautiful :) I love you doll videos :)

Beautiful! And perfect use of colours in the steampunk theme - a lot of people shy away from bright colours when it comes to steampunk because they think it's not "authentic" but I think it just depends how you use them and you did so wonderfully! 💜
Elias G. I agree. When you do it well like here. (which I love the outcome.) And with dolls like ty. Who was made by dollightful. His, bright blue hair looks great. You just have to use the colors in a way that makes sense. Don't have a doll that is mostly greys, browns and blacks and stick a bright pink gear on it, it will look wierd and silly.
They shy away cuz its part of gothic fashion, and gothic includes dark colors not rlly colorful stuff
Actually, while they share certain similarities because of the Victorian/Edwardian inspirations, steampunk is a subculture of punk, like cyberpunk and dieselpunk. Also gothic fashion can include colours, once again if done correctly.

I've been invested in steampunk for many years and the fact is that 1. it's a fantasy style, thus you can make creative decisions and 2. the Victorian era is a large period of time and fashion went through many changes during that time. Evening wear was light coloured, pastel even, if you look up Victorian evening dress, you'll see pale blues and cream and pink and turquoise, ladies in yellow taffeta and white laces, and by the 1860s, people used bold colours and patterns and the colours electric blue, magenta and yellow were used because of a shift towards Eastern inspiration. And if we're going to argue that there is no technology to achieve neon pink, let's look at the colours of a Tesla coil, which is considered highly steampunk and shifts between blue, purple and pink. This doll is 100% steampunk and I don't see what's the point in arguing that it isn't, does it really matter that much to you?
You never cease to amaze me with your dolls. She's so gorgeous! Il love her long pink hair, all the little decorations, the LED lights... Also I love the fact that you chose such an unusual colour scheme for a steampunk themed collab! It actually works very well!

So beautiful, we are accustomed to seeing browns and blacks when it comes to steampunk designs but you have gave it the Moonlight twist! This is stunning, love the colours and expression and accessories. Good job!

Clock Work i thought thats what I thought they might have done.
In fact, all collaboration partners uploaded at the same time :) one can upload videos in advance and set a certain time when they are published. They just had to agree on a time, the rest is not hard :)

I love how much jewelry and sparkly details Octavia has! The LEDs give her an almost ethereal feel, I’d like to think she’s the spirit of a pirate captain who died peacefully surrounded by the sea she loved. You managed to combine beautiful details with the edge that steampunk often has to make a doll that’s absolutely stunning!

Oh wow. Oh wow!!! I can't pick a favorite part!! I love the very pearl colors going on, and how many colors are on her face, and what an incredibly sweet and lovely face that is! I LOVE how much of her original doll's items you used, sprucing them up and showing off those gorgeous molds, and every tiny detail just brings the whole doll together. The beads in her hair and pearls on her face, and all the details on the tentacle corset, they're all just to die for. And I love how deep sea she is--she wound up reminding me very much of a jellyfish!!
This is my first moonlight jewel doll repaint I've watched and I was struck by her beautiful and very soft face, her eyes were so glossy I thought they might be glass. She's absolutely impressive and stunning.

I love the color scheme, it really inspires me to use pink and turquoise together more. It hits my buttons of ocean themes, and I love octopi. The LED lights and the photoshoot with the mermaid music at the end was so appealing, I love it
I feel like she would look stunning if she had glow in the dark freckles and eyes like Dollightful did with Nova-it'll fit in with the glowing skirt and give her a fun surprise in the dark! I felt that she needed that because her face was hard to see in the dark with her skirt glowing so brightly. This is just a suggestion though, she's already such a beautiful doll 💜∩w∩

Overall, the doll is amazing! Though, one thing i would have liked to see were maybe cornrows or dreadlocks? After seeing Pirates of the Caribbean makes you associate at least dreadlocks with pirates. That would have been what I would have done. But, the doll is amazing nonetheless! Great work as always, Moonlight Jewel!
