If player's were likely not being PAID OFF or Bribed to lose to novak as of 2022 just so he, the White man, passes all records, he wouldn't have likely won most of his tournaments since then. Until the ITF, ATP, AND Others look Deep into any and all possible Briberies and Paying Offs (bank transactions, internet/computer uses, cell and payphone use), some of his titles are not legitimate. All top 100 in the ATP need looking into, until then this man, even though he may not be aware of the cheating, is Not legit (since 2022 at least). And Rafael is GOAT 🐐🐐🐐. COURT BIAS from the ATP/ITF. Many kids only have access to dirt or clay growing up, this is just a point. Had Clay been given equal time, Rafael would be FAR ahead in majors and masters and Olympic Golds. Yes, LOGIC defeats stats or numbers here. THIS logic can only be applied when biases are displayed by the ATP/WTA and ITF, etc., and it works intellectually. But ignorance is what Novaqs' fans embrace.

Depends on what kind of adversity we are talking about. Of the big 3 I would say that Nadal has had the most adversity in the form of injuries and medical issues, especially in regard to his Mueller-Weiss syndrome. Djokovic was only absent from 1 single slam from winning his first to 2022, now he has missed 2 more (which was due to following his beliefs, commendable in many ways, but a choice, and one next to no other players made). Meanwhile, Nadal had to miss 9 up until 2022 and is now missing 3 this year. Of course, Nadal's injuries can largely be blamed on him, due to his very physical playstyle, but the injury string does put him at a far more severe disadvantage in the "GOAT" race.

      _____________________________________________________________________________
      Add:
-H2H can not be the "Greatest Of All Time" criteria (though Djokovic has positive number with both Federer and Nadal), for the simple reason that many great players played in a different tennis era, and never played against each other.
All the "Greatest Of All Time" criteria must be as a pure data objectively measurable throughout all times or all eras!
-Career Titles are also less important in the GOAT consideration for the reason that a player can collect a ton of those titles beside of Grand Slams, Nitto and Masters 1000 by any combination of singles and doubles, ATP 500 and 250, ATP Challenger Tour and lesser tournaments.
So "Career titles" can be misleading
Novak 94 title is bigger than Roger 103 and Connors 106.
If we are about to add those points of titles.
      1. Novak 94 titles = 103 500 points
      2. Roger 103titles = 95 250 points
      --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Djokovic also now has three titles in Paris and he is the first man to win each grand slam tournament three times. He will also return to No 1 for a record-extending 388th week as the best player in the world.
Novak Djokovic is THE GOAT and in a league of his own.

He is definitely the MOST clutch out of the 3. A few points go Roger's way and he has 21-22 and Novak is tieing that today. But it is undeniable that he is the Goat. One thing I will say though is that, I still believe Federer played at the highest level out of any of the 3 for a period of time. 2003-2008ish. But novak played at a high level for longer.

I genuinely am baffled how he wasn't considered the goat anyway, most weeks at number 1 by a mile, most masters, best year win to loss, best head to head, held all 4 gs at same time, you're telling me he had to win 1 more grand slam to be the greatest?!? So glad he's done it, he has nothing to prove

There's plenty of other metrics to judge a player by. Personally my GOATs are Roger and latterly Rafa. However, as a lover of tennis I accept that with this achievement Nole cements himself in that position.
Rafa is never going to catch him and Nole barely looks like he's started to slow down. That makes it even easier to see him as the greatest we've ever seen

    • @Turrican60
      @Turrican60 Před rokem +2

Novak was ALREADY and very CLEARLY the greatest of all time as he holds all the most important statistics. Intelligent, unbiased, informed people recognised this, and appreciated that Novak didn't need to win a 23rd Slam to 'prove' anything - the information was already right there, in front of everyone. However, thanks to the global media's obsession with Federer and Nadal, only a 23rd title was ever going to shut them up. Genuine tennis fans of every persuasion and loyalty already knew what was obvious, though: that Novak simply tops the lot.
