    Do you have a video how to remove the valve on this one? Need to check and clean it as well. The thermostat had been dirty as hell and the o-ring holding the 1st fence had been loose from the factory it seems. Yet it is still working. You're the best. I have some cranes working with no service since 1994.

      Hello, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately there is no training video on how to replace the top part of a thermostatic battery. However, it works in a similar way to replacing the thermocouple. If you send us a private message on Twitter twitter.com/grohe, Facebook facebook.com/GROHE.enjoywater/, or Instagram
      instagram.com/grohe_global/, we can send you a split drawing, that maybe helps with the removal and reinstallation.

    The thermo element was pretty stuck for me. Using some force while slightly wiggling the element made it come loose. I was too subtle trying to pulling it out.

    Hello, I have a problem with a Grohtherm 2000 mixing valve. Quite simply, there's no more water. No matter how I turn the bath/shower/stop selector, nothing happens and it seems to turn more easily. What can I do? Thanks

    • @GROHE
      @GROHE  Před 2 lety +1

      @Gplus Gplus! We have a response for you: the thermocouple cannot be disassembled but the filter can be cleaned under running water. Otherwise, the only option is to replace the thermocouple.
      The O-rings are not available as spare parts. We hope, it helps. Kind regards,

    Hello. I have the same tap on the video, the water is not warm enough, I can not extract the thermostatic cartridge, even by levering between the hole and the ring, probably because of the pie. Do you have some tips? Thanks for your help.

    I got the grohe 1000 model , but is making a whining sound and it seems it is coming from the temperature control side, any suggestions will be appreciated

    • @GROHE
      @GROHE  Před 4 lety

      Hello Mohammed, thank you for your message. It could be the water has put a small layer of lime on top of the thermo element which creates this noise / vibration. Please check the filters between the coupling and the mixer, if dirt is deposited on the filters and please clean them. If this does not help please call GROHE in your country to get the thermo element renewed.
      Kind regards

    Bonjour. Je possède le même robinet que la vidéo, l'eau est tiède, je ne parviens pas à extraire la cartouche thermostatique même en faisant levier entre le trou et la bague, probablement à cause du tarte. Y a t il un truc ? Ce robinet est magnifique (et cher) et je n'ai as envie d'en changer. Merci pour votre aide.

      Bonjour, tout comme vous. J'ai fini par réussir. A l'intérieur, il y a une sorte de tige noir, elle est mobile, il faut la pousser avec un tournevis pour libérer la cartouche. Bon courage

      I had the same problem, couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Turned out that it was just a matter op applying more force :-) .. When the element is out, it make sense.. the element has rubber rings that need to pass some narrower parts in the construction. I ended up using a claw hammer to get some lever.
