    I have a couple of video suggestions for future content that I'd love to see.
    #1 - A Step by Step guide on how to develop in a staging/local environment and then push it to a live site properly.
    #2 - Create a video showing how to use Oxygen to redevelop an existing site (built with another theme and/or page builder). From backing up site, to loading and developing in staging/local environment, then how to push it back to the live site with minimal damage control required.
    #3 - Some more Oxygen + ACF (Free/Pro) + CPTUI tutorials
    #3a ---- How to build a Directory Site with front end submission (spam free solution)
    #3b ---- How to build an Event Site for Meetups and Fan Meet and Greets for Content Creators
    #4 - How to build an Archive page where you can alternate layout. Image on left (Odd #'s), image on right (Even #'s)

    Please make tutorial to pull data using ajax. (something like: if a new post is uploaded, it should popsup or stacks ontop of posts on home page.)

    At 31:07, your index page is using Easy Posts so the post without the featured image is showing the "missing" container. Can Easy Posts be modified to use conditions for the featured image or would we use a repeater element instead? What's the best thing to do here?

    Copyright trick caused an error for some reason, but "Copyright © Company Name, Inc." (remove quotes) -works for me.

    this is not currently working with Oxygen 4. Looks great on the back end, but when you go to the front, it's gone.

    If my home page isn't the blog page, and I'm using another page for blog. Do go to Other > Blog Posts Index and Archive > Post Types > Posts Singular > Posts?

    At 25min in the video, you say "Let's add 16 pixels ... No, maybe 32...?" How did you know how may pixels of margin you were adding? Was it eyeballing it or is there an indicator somewhere you were watching?

    • @sergeimaier
      @sergeimaier Před 4 lety +2

      Yes, there is an indicator right in the corner a yellow block ;-)

    This is nice, but what if I would like to set something for blog posts inside the post? Or how to style parts of blog posts (texts, headings etc). For example. I have a client who will write his own posts and he/she would like to do it without me. One post will be only text and another one will contain some recipe for example. So, because of some design purposes, I would like to make some block for this recipe which will be reusable. So it will depend then on the client if he wants or doesn't to use. Thanks.

      @OxygenBuilder  Před 4 lety +1

      Hey Tomas. Sounds like you need our Gutenberg integration: oxygenbuilder.com/tour/gutenberg/. This allows you to create Gutenberg blocks in Oxygen which your client can use to compose their blog posts.

    Great video, but whats about mobile view? Please make some video with a design of a mobile site :)

    • @jmcbade2960
      @jmcbade2960 Před 4 lety +1

      Yes the video is a great starting point but besides what I asked above, considerations and best practices for mobile layouts would be very much appreciated. Specifically for me the topic of image management and best practices for images between mobile and then larger device view ports would be really helpful.

    So I've taken some time to try following this tutorial. Got to 25:17 when you explain testing if the conditional works to not output the featured image if there isn't one. I took a sec to examine mine and the img tag is still there! Any idea why that might be? screenshot: imgur.com/2Pkde2V

    • @kieguy
      @kieguy Před 4 lety

      OK, seems to not be an issue with Oxygen Builder! Tested with the 'Hello World' post as in your video and img tag isn't there. I went back to examine the post itself I was looking at prior, and it is in fact a missing/broken link for that featured image (and several other generated fake posts, but not all!). I blame FakerPress...or a PEBCAC issue. ;)

    • @OxygenBuilder
      @OxygenBuilder  Před 4 lety +1

      @@kieguy We have seen the same issue with FakerPress. It's a great plugin, but it loads dead images fairly often for the featured post images. Thanks for the followup!

      My best guess is, you do your post on Guttenberg... then you render it on the "post template" with oxygen and hope that works with the SEO
