  • This is a detailed walkthrough on how to setup a mega menu in Oxygen Builder. We'll start with the baseline composite element provided in version 3.7 and build it out to replicate the Evernote website mega menu. This is completely customizable and you can add anything you want into the menu.

    Hi, Just wondering if you could post another video on how to make this menu responsive like a hamburger menu?

    HI
    Wow that's what we need. Thank you for this video.
    I have your membership page, I could just add the Desing Set Library and then I have this mega menu. But that's not what I want!!!
    I have more fun when I do it by myself ✌🏽🤪

    do you happen to also experience the bug, where the mega menu would render out of the screen when it is put in a sticky header and you scroll down till the header becomes sticky?

    Really nice done! Appriciate the work you put in and have learned so much already from you. Have just made the switch from Elementor PRO to oxygen and love it. How would you tackle the responsiveness for this menu so it appears like a dropdown list with hamburger icon as a trigger? Keep up the good work

    Is there any way to change the menu from flying in from the bottom. It would be good to change it to fade in but can't see how to do it.

    Long shot comment here but is there a way to get the top menu link wrapper to stay highlighted/hovered when inside the mega menu dropdown?

    Awesome video, thanks. If I want to make a "profile" dropdown menu, how can I make the Mega Menu Wrapper appears at the same location of the image profile? I need this to not be 100% and be aligned to the image profile. Also, it is possible to make this click-toggle and not hover-toggle?

    It's a shame, it would have been interesting to design the MegaMenu without the predefined version of the composite elements.

    This is awesome! Will be giving it a shot soon. Just one question: Is it mobile responsive/does it look good on mobile as well? That has been an issue for me with Oxygen in the past (one of the few drawbacks of this awesome page builder).

  • @wingtracer

    Awesome! Question... at around 18:40 when you are applying 0 padding at the column div level... you didn't opt to assign a class before making changes. I tried doing that, then copying styles to the new class, and removing styles from the default div class. Then setting 0 px didn't do anything. Can you help me understand why the new class is ignored and the default class overrides it, and why you opt to do classes on some things but not others, like this column element?

    • @YK-dx4ux
      @YK-dx4ux Před rokem

      Because Oxygen builder settings are styled on the ID, not the class, so if you have anything filled in the Oxygen builder it will always overwrite anything you've styled by class.

      @@Permaslug While you're here, I'm looking for a way to add functionality to a website. One of my clients is a photographer, he wants to send the pictures he took to a client via a link. But this link should send the client to a page with all the pictures he took during the photo shoot. This way the customer can select the photos he prefers, like when you select items in the woocommerce and put them in your shopping cart. But in this case they will be added to the album. And the photographer will know what the customer's favorite photos are and will be able to modify them.
