Hide the winch behind the license plate and have the cutout for it just under the plate

Nice work man I built me some custom fabercated front and rear bumpers and flat bed for my 2500 hd with the big 8.1 L vortex big block gas motor not diesel. Stock on the chassis dyno it made 310 HP after a good tune cold air intake system and yes we used high circulation fans to pull fresh air into it on the Dyno, cam swap to 510 lift cam head was shaved ported and polished 180 degree headers that wasy extra set off my big block dirt modified which got perfect on that motor since my dirt modified big block is the same motor just carburated which it's easy to convert any Chevy V8 from fuel injection to carb and distributor type setup but not doing that to my truck, I have a welding machine on the back of it and I made a tire rack that can hold 26 tires mounted on rims and the racks mount all around the bed and are removable with pins for when I'm not racing and on top of the tire rack I have a aluminum sheet that pins down on top of it and it also serves as a spotting tower for asphalt racing since the pits are in the infield and you need a tall stand on your hauler or truck for the spotter to see the whole track to spot, I made my own fenders out of aluminum and then it's all painted in Rust-Oleum bed liner. The truck I bought it back in 2011 from a dealer cuse I needed a truck with alot of bed space and big enough to pull my racecar with since I couldn't use my dad's truck anymore cuse he sold it for a Corvette lol any ways it was the first vehicle I financed on my own with no co signer and it has been through hell and back and only has 97k miles on the motor and runs like a champ but the body has a few dings in it and interior is showing signs of wear and the hoods clear coat is coming off but oh well it happens and it's a work truck

I weld with flux but mine are never that neat cuz I use MIG and I learned how to weld MIG and got better at it so it’s the best way of welding for me, those are some nice welds n I definitely gotta get my flux welds like that man

I use flux core on anything 1/16" and up.
Remember to switch polarities to DC- for fc!
Just got 2,3 and 4G certs in dual shield- Mig on steroids!

So far so good- the blades will last if you don't try to cut fast...

As I built this from scratch and with out plans, it was time consuming- Probaly 18 or more hours. Finding an outfit that already makes them would probably be the ticket. But thanks for the confidence! Dave

Good question! I built the whole thing from 10 ga.scraps salvaged from below the shear in a big fab shop!! $0!! Dave
