    Assalaamu Alaikum
    Small mistake: at 1:07 Sheikh says the day of Arafah is the 9th of Muharram, but it is actually the 9th of Dhul Hijjah.
    Jazakallahu khairan for the beneficial video!

    Also to add - among the greatest nights/days is 12th Rabi ul Awwal, Laylatul Mawlid un-Nabi ﷺ. Some Ulema even say in certain aspects, Laylatul Mawlid un-Nabi ﷺ is greater than Laylatul Qadr!

    • @lodiraisa
      @lodiraisa Před měsícem +3

      But Prophet PBUH never emphasized on this night (Laylat Mawlid Nabi as you mentioned.) However it appears on saheeh hadith that the Prophet PBUH exerted himself in Ibadah like he never did in Laylatul Qadr. This night is the most important.

      @@lodiraisa Imam Qastallani رحمه الله تعالى, the author of the great work Al-Mawahib-ul-Ladunniyya states regarding the blessed Mawlid of the beloved prophet ﷺ. "When it is said that the Prophet ﷺ was born at night time then the question arises which of the two nights is greater i.e. Night of Qadr or Night of Mawlid?
      The Night of Mawlid-un-Nabi ﷺ is superior due to 3 reasons:
      First: He ﷺ arrived (in this world) on the Night of Mawlid whereas Night of Qadr was granted to him (afterwards), therefore the arrival of the Prophet ﷺ is greater than what has been granted to him, hence the Night of Mawlid is higher in virtue.
      Second: If the Night of Qadr is a virtuous night because Angels descend in it, then the Night of Mawlid has the virtue of the Prophet ﷺ being sent to the world. The Prophet ﷺ is superior to Angels, therefore the Night of Mawlid becomes superior.
      Third: Due to the Night of Qadr, the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ was given excellence, whereas due to the Night of Mawlid, the entire creation was given excellence, as the Prophet ﷺ is sent as Mercy to the entire universe (21:107). Hence the blessing was made general for all creation."
      Many other well established great scholars also agree and mention this, some references:
      ►Imam Qastallani رحمه الله in Al Mawahib-ul-Ladunniyya volume 1, pages 145.
      ►Imam Zurqani رحمه الله in Sharh-ul-Mawahib, volume 1, pages 255-256.

      ►Sayyid Muhammad ibn Alawi al-Maliki رحمه الله in Al-Dhakha'ir al-Muhammadiyyah.
      ►Abd al-Hayy al-Lucknawi رحمه الله also mentions in his Majmu'A Al-Fatawa:
      Some of the Hadith scholars have preferred the night of Mawlid al-Nabi ﷺ over Laylah al-Qadr; their position is not that worship on the night of Mawlid al-Nabi ﷺ is equal to that of Laylatul Qadr, because reward and punishment can only be established from a definitive text. Rather, the night of his ﷺ blessed birth is superior to the Night of Destiny on account of its own distinction in the sight of Allah Most High. Also the virtues of this night are highlighted in the Sirah itself. Just because it's not directly mentioned in Hadith, doesn't mean it's not among the blessed of nights.
