Veg Dumplings or Momos! Easy pan-fried!

📝Ingredients:
For stuffing:
1-2 tbsp • Oil
1 tbsp • Chopped garlic
1 • Chopped medium onion
1 • Chopped medium capsicum
1 • Grated carrot
1 cup • Julienne Cabbage (You can add any veggies of your choice )
Salt to taste
1tbsp • Dark soy sauce
1 tsp • Black pepper powder
1/2 tbsp • Grated ginger
Sauté everything on pan and the simple yet delicious veggie stuffing is ready!
For wrapper:
1 cup • Plain flour
Salt to taste
Water as required
Dust with flour and roll out the entire dough ball. Use a bowl to cut into circles,
or you can use a cutter, to simplify the process.
Steps:
* Place 1 tbsp of the stuffing in the centre of the wrapper.
* First fold the wrapper in half, only pinching the middle. Make 3-4 pleats on each side and pinch it towards the centre.
* Heat 2 tbsp • Oil in a pan on medium heat
* Place dumplings into the hot pan and fry for 2mins (we want brown bottoms)
* Pour 1/4 cup of water into pan and immediately cover with lid.
* Steam the dumplings for 3-4 minutes, then remove the lid. Ensure there is no excess water remaining in the pot.
* Sprinkle some sesame seeds and spring onions.
Serve with dipping sauce and enjoy these crispy yet soft dumplings!
