Thank you for watching fellas! Glad you enjoyed! Feel free to watch the whole catalogue (newer stuff's a bit better and more ToS-friendly), and there's more on a channel called "incognito mode" too which I reckon you'll like :)

Historian, I was wondering if you knew that the burger capaign wasn't the first. In 2013 this capaign was in germany and went smoothly. With the winner burger beung called "Pietsmiet burger" which a fan made in honor of his favourite german youtuber group called Pietsmiet. The burger was really good, had a lot of meat in it and the pietsmiet members even got interviewed by mcdonalds. Overall a success. I guess they then tried doing it in america and failed misreably

He's friendly towards reaction channels, fyi. Watching his sponsor ad is a courtesy, but they're also often entertaining on their own.

I would argue that these videos from Internet Historian are must: "Fall of the 76" " Engoodening of no man sky" and of course his recent video "Cost of cordonia".

The Burger King thing was they were trying to promote women being chefs by giving out scholarships using an expensive ad in a magazine and on Twitter and both were absolutely tone deaf in the same way. The Twitter one was two posts starting with “women belong in the kitchen” with a two hour gap in between and no indication there was more to the post. It went just how you remember. The kicker, the scholarships they were giving out were just two full scholarships and the magazine ad cost more than both scholarships combined. It was an advertisement to show how caring they were that more showed how greedy and incompetent they were. They could have drummed much more goodwill by giving out five scholarships and not advertising it at all.

He also has a channel called "Incognito Mode" Most of the videos there are kind of a podcast but with video editing setup, but he also has a few videos like this one on there. Like "The Swedish Job" and the utterly amazing "The Gentleman Pirate" which is basically a 1 hour and 20 minutes movie about an actual pirate that actually existed. So it's a good idea to keep your eye on that channel as well.

I'm so glad you guys are watching Internet Historian. His content is top notch. As some others have pointed out, he has two channels you need to check out: his main channel "Internet Historian" and his secondary channel "Incognito Mode" which is just as good as the main channel.
The next videos I would recommend from him are:
    "Tales from TheVarus"
"TheVarus Strakes Buck" (the sequel video)
"Going Camping at the End of the World"
    "The Cost of Concordia"

Btw, the mcdonalds my burger thing actually was here in germany in 2013 and actually went over pretty well. In the end the winner was the so called "Pietsmiet" burger, which was created and posted by a fan of the german youtuber group Pietsmiet.

Which is sort of up to luck. We also had the Pedobear one where it was suggested as the mascot to the local trashworkers and supposed to be called "Saubär" and send to Kindergartens and such. It was pretty much set in stone until someone told the organisers the truth.
So it is up to look if such things do blow up at times ... or not.

I was looking for a reaction video to an internet historian video, because I love the videos he makes and I enjoy watching others react to them and so I clicked on your video and I can say I am glad to have chosen your reaction. I loved this particular reaction, the off topic conversations, the genuine interest and laughs from both of you. It's not often that you find a reaction channel that's this engaged with the content they're reacting to. I subscribed without hesitation.

Stuff like this is why I have such a love/hate relationship with 4Chan. They can be pretty toxic people, but Zod damn do they do some funny sh*t sometimes.
Edit: I'm glad you watched the ad. ALWAYS watch Internet Historian's ads. They're always hilarious.
