Freddie would be proud. He actually encouraged people to cover his songs and even approved of parodies. These kids nailed yet another classic song while most usually fail at such an attempt. The lead singer sings her heart and soul out here.

I'm not quite sure what to say, I was blown away on so many levels. I guess the only right thing to say is, that was tremendous!!! That is an unbelievably hard song to get right, but you all did it. All the vocals were spot on. The harmonies that sound so easy when someone else is doing them, are infinitely harder when it is you that has to carry off the 3rd and 4th harmonies in live time. Queen did it using massive amounts of layering and never attempted it live. The guitar players were all outstanding and I especially enjoyed the Lefty in the bunch. I loved hearing the contrasts between all your guitars in sound and style. The bass player, was awesome!!! She added so much in terms of style and sound, I was blown away. Keyboard guy excellent, the melody line hung on you and you nailed it spot on. Drums were awesome, you played and kept everyone going in the same direction, all while doing the little things that flavored your style, without drawing attention to yourself. Finally, the lead singer, I felt every bit of your performance. Your voice was beautiful and full of conviction, you made this your version. Tough to do with an iconic song like this where the temptation to sound like Freddie is always trying to assert itself. I will be making trips back to this version in the future 'cause it restores my faith in the fact that this generation is giving music it's due. Thank you all of you!!!

4:10 "So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby, can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out, just gotta get right out of here" and the chords coming after, 'till 4:37 ... 27 little seconds... bringing the song to its climax... 27 seconds summing up the amazing talent and quality of these young musicians... unforgettable! A gem on the crown of perfection ...

Beautiful! Brilliant! All musicians top notch. And that high note? Superb! Freddy would be proud of you lot. I'm a Queen fan, so I'm very critical...

I keep coming back to this performance. The singer has great range, the guitarists are spot-on, the drummer and bassist never miss a lick and the background singers nail it. The recording engineer is to be given kudos for capturing the sound and mixing it perfectly. The one thing that would be cool would be to have isolated cameras for the singer and the rest. I've seen a video by the Corrs where that was done. It's cool getting to watch everyone contributing their part to make a great recording.

only thing i don't like is that many-a-original-male-song-lead is sung by girls because they don't think they can get a male with that high of a voice or whatever. I have heard there are plenty of male singers to choose from and the collection of male artists at School of Rock is vast.

These kids did a good job of covering this classic. Bohemian Rhapsody is probably one of the hardest songs to cover, not due to the difficulty but rather because everyone will automatically compare it to the iconic original by Queen. Also, get them some drive pedals for the guitars, it was a bit lacking there.

And the original being just under six minutes long also makes it difficult to cover.
