I watched this knowing what's gonna happen but it actually surprised me a bit, finished it in one sitting, and I'm left wanting more. It was so sweet and heartwarming. Also loved the chemistry and the relationship between mom and dad. can't wait for s2.

I binged the whole series in one day and it’s exactly how you would imagine it to be, no surprises full of cliches but it was something you could watch when you have nothing to watch.

Oh my gosh finally. I've been waiting for this adaptation since it was announced years ago.
I just want one time, one damn time where the girl chooses the sweet younger brother and not the "bad boy" older brother (bonus points if he has his shirt off for half the movie.) I already know I'm gonna be rooting for the younger brother with brown hair only for the blonde older brother to come out ahead in the end. Like always.

Seeing this trailer suddenly pop up on my feed in 2023 made me do a double take. I used to be OBSESSED with this book in 2014/15 as a 10/11 year old. Can’t believe Netflix picked it up for a MOVIE.

This was one of my favorite books as a teen! I hope they do it justice, especially her friendship with the brother that has autism
Wow! That was just too close for comfort. I was so happy to see Jackie on that plane headed back to New York with her uncle. A nice, smart, good girl like Jackie, who has such a promising future ahead of her, didn't belong in Colorado (or anywhere else) in a house filled with teenage male hormones. That was ridiculous! If there is a Season 2, the script writers need to fast-forward them 10 years, minimum, into the future, and Cole would need to have fixed his problems, gone off to college, and created the bright future for himself that he wants and that makes him feel good about himself and happy. Only then should they even talk to each other again. A girl like Jackie should never have been put in a situation like that. Great ending!

I have to say I think Jackie did more for that family than they did for her, lol.
Minus the kissing with Cole while still with Alex (which i hate to say, I really loved the kiss and was happy...)
- She got Cole to open up more than anyone, patch things up w/ Alex, and going to Summer school.
- She supported and helped Danny to get into Juilliard and made sure he couldn't say no to going after being accepted because of money so she arranged his living w/ her uncle so he could go to New York for the summer.
- I definitely saw a sibling like connection between her and Nathan (I love Nathan hes precious), I think it was because of her friendship w/ Skylar and seeing him more and more around because of her it's what got him the courage to go for it with Skylar.
- She put together Wills and Hayley entire wedding.
- Katherine got to have some kind of a connection with her best friend through taking care of Jackie.
- Hell she even had an affect on Erin to change to be nicer since Thanksgiving and to stand up for what she wants out of herself and her life.
I cannot wait for the bad-boy trope to continue. Say what you want to say, but I will fall for it each and every time.
I recommended love alarm if you have time to watch I'm excited for this movie

Now I'm imagining a separate universe for one of these characters. I'm thinking Cole Sprouse and Jackie might not be the right fit for one another. We've already seen this happen to Tessa and Hardin. It's that cycle of immaturity and toxicity that high school has grown increasingly familiar with. The trailer looks promising.
