- I purchased this hutch from Goodwill for $50 and have it posted for sale online for $350. I have sold similar hutches for around $300-$330 in the past. I have not had any interest in it yet (possibly because people are not spending as much right now).
The cost to refinish this project was roughly $50: $20 for the paint (which is often sold out on Amazon), $20 for the top coat and then I figured in $10 for brushes/ the wood cleaner I used.
I still have about half of the can of chalk paint left and most of the topcoat can left.

It's a beautiful piece of furniture. I can't wait to see what you do with it
Beautiful. I swear I could smell it when first saw it. It was a good smell, like my Grandma’s old hutch. ❤
Nice job! I love how you left some original touches by not painting the stained top or the inside back of the top piece. Many just paint all of the piece but this look gives much more character.
Well, it looks better than it looked originally anyway.
Very pretty! Great job!
You did an excellent job!! Just beautiful!!
Gorgeous!!
Came out beautiful
Really nice! I tried the same paint and was very disappointed ☹
OMG this video is so slow and so long I was ready to fall asleep. But it looks like it came out nice.
I saw a video where they used playing cards from dollar tree around the edges
Hi, question did you experience any yellowing after a couple of months with that specific top coat? I refinish my kitchen cabinets and a hutch and noticed after months some yellowing.
Do you only do local sales, or do you ship anywhere?
Nice job! How much did you end up selling it for?
Hi! How log did you wait for it to dry before applying the matte topcoat? I’ve seen so many reviews where it changes the color into a yellow and you can see the wood color underneath come though as well. This will be my first time using it and I want to avoid any of those mistakes. Help! Please
How many cans did you use?
How many cans of chalk paint did it take
No prep? Jesus 🤦🏻♂️
