Perhaps it's even a compliment that it looks like all those other popular works, as it showcases an adept use of different animation techniques to create an impactful action scene.

When I was a lot younger, I used to like flashy fight scenes like this one but now I find them to be so boring and uninspired. It's always about who can use the flashiest attack or go super saiyan.
