Veliki božični koncert Gimnazije Kranj 2010. Pravljice in sanjarjenja. Izvajali smo dva stavka Edvarda Griega: Jutro in Dvorani gorskega kralja. Aranžma za zbore je pripravil dirigent, maestro Nejc Bečan. Koncert smo razprodali v nekaj urah. Zborovodja: Primož Kerštanj, mentorica: Barbara Kušar. Režija in koncept: Primož Zevnik. - Hudba
Everything is impressive at this school! Starting with the fact that it was founded in 1810, that is, a glorious “lady” of 214 years! She is a living witness to the history of a nation and a continent! Just think that it is education that provides organic unity to the State! The Gimnazija Kranj Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2002, with the current conductor being co-founder: conductor Nejc Bečan. Once this trajectory is known, it is not surprising the excellent quality of the musicians! Hail Kranj! Save your Symphony Orchestra! Long live Slovenia!
I have never seen a conductor conduct with such love for the music and his music makers. This is the absolutely essential element which takes a truly great orchestra into realm that this orchestra occupies. It is truly a Blessing to watch this magic take place!
just listened and watched the performance of Scheherazade they did, seems like it was at the same concert as this Grieg?? wow.. would've loved to have been there.. 🙂

How does this orchestra do it time and time again putting some professional orchestras to shame bravo to maestro zenikov (whoops Nejc Bečan )and the whole orchestra.from the UK 🇬🇧. Grieg was friends with the Australian Percy Grainger and English man Frederic Delius both lyrical composers like Grieg.
Edward Grieg and Hentik Ibsen would be so proud tyo hear this [performance/.

What an accomplished group of youthful musicians! I usually think of a symphonic orchestra composed of folks in their 50s and 60s.I call your attention to the attractive young flautist whose beginning notes to this Grieg piece are essentially perfect. What a joy it is to listen to these young professionals. May God bless all of them!
This is one of my favorite pieces and the young musicians are impressive.

There is hope for the world! There are a great many amazing, wonderful young people. We just don't hear about the great things they accomplish! This orchestra should be above the fold on CNN and MSNBC. Feature the brilliant , hard working younger generation.

Absolutely adore the tempo of the opening piece. All too often this is way too fast, but here is spot on. For me, the pause of the conductor at the opening set the scene - with the flautists and oboe players then adding a sense of serenity to a beautiful, magical piece of music. Thank you.

i love this groups videos. i want to know everything about each one of them..their story, where do they live, what are their families like, what do they do when they are hanging out, what do they eat, what are their love lives like, how did they there on that stage? so many stories, there's a movie in there somewhere. in another life i would like to be a part of this.

Orchestra did a great job but the audiences ruined it with constant coughing Especially In the Hall of Mountain King being played and oh boy they are too loud
