Let's Cosplay! : Choosing the right Thermoplastic : Wonderflex / Worbla / Black Worbla

- Hey everyone! With the use of thermoplastics high and prominent in the cosplay community I decided to make this short video comparing three of the top contenders.
Wonderflex, Worbla & Black Worbla share a common use when it comes to making armor and props but knowing which one is right for your project can be tricky. A persons first instinct is to buy the same thing they see everyone using, but because these materials range in price and capabilities jumping the gun can cause you to waste money on a product that doesnt do everything you need. So I hope this video helps save you a little bit of the frustration in deciding which route to take.

Man, living in Europe has its drawbacks, but worbla prices is not one of them. I just got a small sheet of black worbla for only 12€.
How dare you brag to me about this amazing price when i'm stuck with these massive US prices!! Lol I'm just kidding. But really thats an amazing plus! I know living overseas can be difficult with certain supplies not available in certain areas so at least worbla is easier for you, especially since thats one of the bigger budget killers!

yes in usd! most websites will let you change the currency rate but you can always use xe.com to check the difference
Could you use wonder flex to make a breast plate
Hello! You can but I wouldnt really recommend it. Wonderflex is heavier than Worbla in bulk and has less stretch to it because of the netting on the back side. Its not impossible, there are a few tutorials on youtube from others using it, but if you have the option of using Worbla for your breastplate I'd recommend that as it's easier to shape and lighter when worn.
