I see it was great fun. I always wonder about the reaction of Western European tourists to snow. Maybe it wasn't there for you? What is now called winter in Poland is only a substitute for the winters that used to be. The effect of climate change is clearly visible. There used to be clearly 4 seasons, now winter is colder autumn. If you want to see winter, the winter capital of Zakopane is 2 hours away by bus. And did you know that while at Wawel Castle you were in one of the 7 most powerful places of power on Earth - the Earth Chakra.😃
The snow made this trip EXTRA special. I know people in the Netherlands say the same about the canals freezing over and how it just doesn't happen anymore because it never gets cold enough. In South Africa, if we got snow it was a small and insignificant amount, so this really was a whole new world of fun to me! I didn't know that about the castle, where could I read more about what you're referring to?
