The thing people have lost in society is empathy. Nobody genuinely cares about other people anymore, and it feels like no one under the age of 30 was ever even taught the concept. Instead, people are raising their kids to believe they were already the victims of hatred and crimes they haven't experinced, as soon as they were born. They raise them to hate people for their skin and other things they can't control. They're rasing them to believe the world is their enemy, who hated them before they were even born. I mean, what kind of functioning adult human can come from that life? Why would anyone strive to be better for their fellow man, when they've been told since day #1 that it was pointless?
