Get Rude On! .. this bit is classic..glad you got too it!.. i think i mentioned it in the comments once or twice.. youre right there is plenty of his stuff that doesnt go down well these days...thats partly why this cuts off.. this was the first part of a full standup show.. iirc he goes into some police humor that really didnt go down well with the establishment!...
Kevin Bloody Wilson is worth checking out...mainly does comedic songs.. has some classics.. he doesnt have as much swearing, but the content is quite 'colourful'

I remember, when I was about 7 years old, my dad secretly used to let me listen to Rodney cassette tapes as long as I did my choirs and didn't tell mum. 😉
There is a longer version of this that makes more sense, but you get the gist of routine.
I remember seeing a video of Rude in the 90's and towards the end of the the video which was probably about 10 o'clock he said, this is a community announcement the car with license plate number such and such, you left your lights on, we knew at 6 o'clock but we didn't give a fuck!

Howdy Squirrel. Rude was as funny as f**k. An Aussie icon, but NOT for pious christians! He could cut a heckler down so well.
Rodney was huge in the '80's, I think he's still crackin' jokes around the place now, but the '80's was his heyday. I mean, his name pretty much is it's own warning, so if you're easily offended, probably a no, but this one holds up I think, still pretty funny. Some of his stuff was probably too offensive or unfunny for todays audience though, as was some of Kevin Bloody Wilson's stuff, it's a treacherous path if you don't know what's coming (YT wise I mean, I know you can handle it😂) Loved the reaction. ❤

Oh no. I hoped you find Mr rude. He used to play at twin towns and everyone shut up because some drunk idiot in the crowd would say something and we had an extra comedy show to watch. You were lucky to get a ticket to see his show.

I remember back when I was just 20 I went to a show of his at the local RSL and I got up to go get more drinks . Well fuck me he made the rest of my night an absolute embarrassment by giving me shit every 10 minutes much to my friends and our girlfriend's delight and amusement. To this day I still think they knew and set me up the shits .Until then I thought that stuff was all just a put-on by the show people.
