Shame they don't put an extra disc slot in the first film case knowing people will want to add the 4K, but not necessarily chuck out the Arrow release which I bet is packed with extras and the unique disc art.
I ordered the regular blu ray one - the booklet doesnt seem to fit well? It bends and twists?? I see yours the same. Bottom of the binding of book piece of the yellow paper already came off.
A lot are a bit mixed on the artwork, which i understand, especially the misalignment of the front box. I personally quite liked this set. Great unboxing mate
@@GJarr2 It's actually a disappointing release all told the Scream Factory versions have far better art work and the first film not being 4K like the others is a joke surely they could've done a deal to get the rights to the 4K transfer
I wish this had the r rated cuts for cult & curse which is the only thing I have issue with. The disc authoring and encoding is so much better than shouts. Notice a big jump from the us 4K for childs play to the arrow disc for 2.
I'm not going to lie cult of chucky I wasn't a huge fan of i thought there were funny moments ofc but wasn't the best mow curse of chucky I can let it slide it was okay had its moments to get me to jump besides the weird comedy it had.
It's not a bad 4k set of all the Chucky films in 4k but definitely should have put the first movie in 4k as well that's a bad decision. Nice unboxing and posters and book are nice too.
The standard release of this will hopefully be in proper slimmer amaray csses with original artwork. This set is a let down imo, and you are correct it is very bland for what it is, money saved for me.
Mines arrived with artwork way off aligment, trying to get a refund and send it back but they keep trying to fob me off with store credit and will likely now wont hear back from them until the new year, Arrow customer service is shocking. Hope you enjoy the set mate
Got mine through and fortunately lines up properly. Shame about the 1st, but as i imported it, no biggy. Shame Movie Gormless Muppets were not interested in letting Arrow have the 1st but overall better value than having to import. If MGM are doing their own thing based on previous experiences, expect middling encode and some random audio from the interns 😢.
The set is a bit disappointing with the boring artwork and little details like the booklet that is too big to fit normal in the box are things that annoy me. The 4K with some right issues I can overlook. Not what I'm used to from Arrow this set.
The original film doesn’t have any new bonus features, I’m pretty sure all those features are on my steelbook /metal pack version of child’s play. So that’s a bit disappointing. I also think the artwork on the outer box sucks, with nothing on the back. Bit bloody lazy if you ask me. Despite my moaning, im still looking forward to opening this set when it arrives in the morning. I just hope my one won’t be misaligned like some peoples set have been.
I feel seed of chucky was okay everything after was kind of just like why cult of chucky didn't really like curse of chucky was also okay I prefer it over cult that's just me tho

I bought the US 4k of Child's Play in the black Friday sale from Amazon swapped the discs and now it's a beautiful set. Love it.

It wasn't Shout Factory who refused permission, it was MGM, who wouldn't license Childs Play.

probably had their own 4K in the works and don't want Arrow taking a bit off the top of their sales.
Great boxset. I have bought Shout Factory version of Childs play and put it in this boxset.

Just the colour. Everything else is the same.

My lid doesnt align properly. I might return it to HMV and buy it again

Child’s Play 1-3 are the best and after that they go downhill. Bride Of Chucky is okay and then the rest are terrible

What a complete waste to the posters inside and all them folded creases!. Not even frameable. Cheap lazy boxing and exterior box artwork..
Very disappointing release, but on the bright side the disc art is pretty good.
