- The famous Producer/Director/Poet of Malayalam movie industry, who can also be also called the Godfather or Classic movie making Sri. Sreekumaran Thampi talks about his association and his deep relationship with the late great Jayan in this documentary. They were like brothers more than professional colleagues. Thampi sir was instrumental in elevating Jayan to hero roles, when Jayan was kind of typecast in villian roles, and has cast him many memorable roles in his ascending times. Jayan was also equally loving and respectful towards Thampi sir. This interview is a glimpse of two kindred souls, together could've changed the course of Malayalam movie industry, but unfortunately we will never know what could've been!! This interview was shot nearly 10 years ago and is now being released to the public in a series of short segments via CZcams, Facebook.

ജയൻ 80 ൽ മരിക്കുമ്പോൾ 85 വരെ ഡേറ്റുകൾ വിവിധ സിനിമകൾക്കായി നൽകിയിരുന്നു. മുന്നേറ്റം, സ്ഫോടനം, തുഷാരം, ഭീമൻ എല്ലാം അദ്ദേഹം ചെയ്യേണ്ട സിനിമകൾ ആയിരുന്നു. അദ്ദേഹം ഇന്ത്യൻ സിനിമയെ കീഴടക്കും എന്നുറപ്പായ കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ ആയിരുന്നു ദുരന്തം.

There existed a strong bondage between Mr. Sreekumaran Thampi and late Mr. Jayan , and
Mr. Thampi brings before us his closeness with the late actor , which was brotherly in nature , as
they used to share with each other their life experiences , what life has taught them , what they
learnt out of their life. This kind of closeness between the two has forced Mr. Thampi to go
for action movies , with Jayan as the hero , and many such movies were released with Mr.Thampi
as the director which catapulted Jayan to reach new heights , which saw Jayan taking the
shape of an action hero. It was Mr. Thampi who was chiefly responsible for Mr. Jayan
becoming the heartthrob of many. Mr. Thampi also comes out with certain unknown facts
about the late actor , as he was intending to marry an Air Hostess, but it did not materialize
due to Jayan's unexpected death. Mr. Thampi also discovers a fine human being in Jayan,
as he was quite a helpful person carrying innumerable number of good qualities.

പകരക്കാരനില്ലാത്ത നടൻ... മരിക്കുന്ന സമയത്ത് ഇരുപത്തി അഞ്ചോളം ചിത്രത്തിൽ booked... ആയിരുന്നു.. അതൊക്കെ അതുവരെ അറിയപ്പെടാതിരുന്ന മറ്റു നടൻമാർ അഭിനയിച്ചു പ്രശസ്തരായി. ഗർജനം എന്ന ജയൻ അഭിനയിക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന സിനിമ രജനീകാന്ത് ആണ് അഭിനയിച്ചത്... ആ സിനിമയിൽ ജയൻ അഭിനയിച്ച ഭാഗം ഉൾപ്പെടുത്തി ആയിരുന്നു കാണിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അതിൽ fight... സീനും രണ്ട് ഗാന രംഗങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ആ ഗാന രംഗം വളരെ മനോഹരമായിരുന്നു. അത് കിട്ടാൻ വല്ല വഴിയും ഉണ്ടോ. Both Sukumaran and Soman had professional jealousy towards leading superstar of the 1980 remembered for his amazing stunt style, adventure action dimpled chin, exercised body ,chiseled features, and virile Mollywood roles, died on Nov 16th at the age of 41, for his unstopped progression in movie career.Jayan was very self determined person with full of confidence about his future.If he was alive 6 more months he will be well remembered as only and one Superstar in India because he had already signed couple of project for his Hindi films with Amitab Bachan ,Rajnikanth Mithun chakravarthi etc.Jayan was a legend, an actor from the golden age of movies who lived well into his golden years, a humanitarian whose commitment to justice and the causes he believed in set a standard for all of us to aspire to.
Unfortunately he was murdered by his fellow actors secret plan. Please remember his costars and pilot Sampath were finish their last journey after Jayan's death.
Agreed Jayan is a loss . But nobody can reverse Fate . Lots of people who were present at the time of accident have vouched the fact that all were happy with the final shot . And it was Jayan alone who wanted a Retake . Simply n unnecessarily don't blame others n say Murder .
