    Be aware I say UISP a lot and I also say it wrong a lot ( USIP ) 😂

    I am pretty much interested to see more videos on the UISP demo and set-up. I look forward to them.

    Great video, thank you! What's your latency increase between the Gigabeam devices?
    Just curious how this would slow down the data transfer vs hardwired, radio travels with ~300 m per microsecond

    It would be amazing if they came out with a Unifi version of the UISP router to finally replace the USG 3P. It would work well in structured media cabinets and the like where an all-in-one UDM/UDR won't fit. Not to mention that stashed in a closet is a terrible place for their built-in wifi access point.

  • @El3andro

    Can you please explain the difference between the regular Unifi application and the Uisp app? Maybe this is also an idea for a new video

    • @mitchellmnr
      @mitchellmnr Před 2 lety

      UNIFI - unifi/internal product line from ubiquiti
      UISP - ISP product line from ubiquiti
      So UNIFI OS/UDM/Cloud Controller - is the unifi range
      And UISP is the ISP (old UNMS/UCRM/edgemax) range

      @@mitchellmnr So is it same as EdgeSwitch become to new version UISP Switch and EdgeRouter is UISP Router? For setup it can not use like in EdgeRouter just by IP address?

    Is it possible to enable a regular WebUI on this device instead of just having the option to configure it with those stupid apps on those phones where everything takes 5 times longer and is 10 times less convenient, ultimately driving me crazy?

    • @MactelecomNetworks

      This is geared more towards WISPs ( Wireless ISPs ) so all the point to point and point to multi-point gear

  • @neojack333

    how does it works it the UISP server is unavailable ? for exemple if you disable by mistake the port that gives management's uplink to the switch ? it is possible to configure basic functions like VLAN, activate poe, enable a port, directly from the switch ?

      I have had the same question for months.
      Everyone on CZcams is talking about all the new Ubiquiti products except the one thing I care about.
      PD: I hate all things UniFi and am still on my EdgeSwitch but want to see if it would fit well in UISP-S-Pro.

      This is apart of UISP not Unifi.

    • @neojack333
      @neojack333 Před 2 lety

      UISP = pro line aimed for the wireless internet companies (WAN). Unifi = prosumer devices aimed to manage LANs in a home or business
