I have not used the remote that much but I believe there is a menu setting to turn off and on the IRC remote on the stick so the remote can talk to them.
Just got a set of four, and I figured out the what I was doing wrong on the slave and master part thanks to your video, but I'm having trouble getting my remote to do anything. IRC sensor is on with the master stick, but Ive yet to be able to use it.
I know you have to hit the entee key after you select the recieve channel. After you do that set it to dmx channel and hit enter. if you have the stick set to recieve but have it set to run in sound active or program mode it will not recieve. after setting it to receive go though the menu to where you set the dmx channel and set it to one and hit enter to save. if that does not work try a different channel to transmit and recieve on. hope that helps.
Hey mate did you have any problem setting them upI set mine up for master slave initially just one would respond as slave, now two are responding as slave. The issue was once I ran the whole process per stick . it would receive a signal but for some reason revert back to its original setting. Any help much appreciated. cheers

Make sure after you finish the setup to receive and slave setting that you go back though the menu to the dmx channel settings and hit enter.
you could have that problem too if two of them are transmiting at the same time on the same channel.
