Innocent babies born on a wicked land,if we can spend huge amount of money on GFA,anyone who losses her baby should sue the hospital and if possible, the government as well
Which secondary school? Most of the secondary schools who have power plants were bought when students were paying fees. now you can't buy anything when funds do not come from the free SHS secretariat
@kwameessah… stop fooling… it’s hospital and lives we talking about. Stop talking about expensive when we can allocate useless amounts for the GFA to spend on the “useless Black Stars”… stop talking about expensive… are you people madddd??? Don’t get me vexed kwraaa
@kwameessah_2 They should've used the money they spent on that rubbish Africa games to invest in solar energy. In all honesty, the politrickcians don't have their priorities in order, or they don't give a sh##
@kwameessah_2 But they had enough money to spend on that useless Africa games right? Think before you write a comment. Don't let these politicians trick you into thinking that the problems are more complicated than they seem.
I worked in ECG for some time and hospitals were exempted. They are critical loads and they have dedicated lines. But due to load surges, other domestic and semi commercial loads were put on these hospital lines and that’s why the power outage is affecting them.
Load demand. So when these loads are added and there is a fault, and you need to shut down the feeder, then that’s it. The hospital goes off. Not just hospitals but other entities as well. There used to be a good ring system which made it possible to energize from other areas but I think all those systems are either excessively loaded or just collapsed. The whole national grid is not ready for the load capacity of Ghanaians, despite the fact that there is adequate generation. The problem is losses and even back in 2015, it wasn’t just losses but at times sabotage. People deliberately burn poles, others deliberately cut lines. But the whole thing was politicised. Now it has degenerated to this and it can’t be stopped.
He probably had his kids overseas so of course he doesn't care. I always say, the day these politrickcians are banned from traveling overseas is the day things will begin to improve.
8:40 a lot of the monies generated internally go into paying allowances for especially the medical director and management team. If you should see how much they get, you will be marvelled. As you rightly said, we shouldn't pin everything on the presidency but also let heads of facilities take responsibility for their poor management.
I'm super proud of this content, brother... Thanks. My son was admitted at the paediatric unit some 3 weeks ago and *it really happened*. So i asked, in a hospital too...??
Tema General hospital de33 saa. My mum told me when she went to deliver me at the Tema General hospital she didn’t have a bed. She slept on cardboard on the floor before and after she was delivered of me. This happened over 30yrs ago. These government hospitals are fond of having no bed. Tweeaaa
They don't respect us koraaa.. Ghanaian services, systems, institutions and government have failed us completely. What hurts me is the effrontery they have to make the press release like some heroes. Herhh !
Can the black man really manage its own affairs? I began asking this question after coming to Ghana after a decade away. I swear the country regressed, no one can tell me otherwise!
This is very sad. The lack of respect for black people is detrimental and disappointing. ANYONE IN NEED OF OXYGEN, IF DEPRIVED OXYGEN FOR EVEN A SECOND, CAN LEAD TO BRAIN DAMAGE AND POSSIBLY BRAIN DEAD. Now imagine this happening to a newborn baby still developing in everyday health.
You know Ghana sadly looks like a war torn country to me now. This is pure unadulterated wickedness from people in power how is it possible that a whole hospital does not have light, for Christ sack people lives are at stake.
I think hospitals should be in a three phase system. They should have access to the main power grid, solar panels and a backup generator. There should be no excuse in 2024 for power outages at hospitals and government buildings.
These leaders need to be going to Kwame Nkrumah Museum once evey week to understand the man's vision cos this is arrant nonsense. They should go there like school.
Innocent babies born on a wicked land,if we can spend huge amount of money on GFA,anyone who losses her baby should sue the hospital and if possible, the government as well
Babies died, they are lying about babies not dying
Period! Dear... too much nuisance in the system.
Thank you. You are so wise ❤

Look at the situation in Ghana.
How is Ghana not use solar energy.
It's sad even the western world don't rely on electricity power only.
Say it again ooo
with all these sun and heat falling on us
solar energy is very expensive to produce on a large scale ... it costs about 5 times as much as hydro power
@kwameessah… stop fooling… it’s hospital and lives we talking about. Stop talking about expensive when we can allocate useless amounts for the GFA to spend on the “useless Black Stars”… stop talking about expensive… are you people madddd??? Don’t get me vexed kwraaa

Who decided to add those commercial and domestic loads to the hospital lines?
ohhk. I get it now cos i was thinking about it
