- The final day of the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard was perhaps the most incredibly intense of the four. After three days of drifting, supercars and F1 stars, we hit the big one: the Timed Shootout. But, that wasn't all. In our collection of the best runs from the day we have Daniel Ricciardo getting a taste of a championship-winning Red Bull RB7, James Deane switching to his screaming Mazda RX-7, Oliver Bearman perfecting his donuts and much more.

To me it looks like any early 2000s Rally Car. Can you please tell me about what makes it special?
@@yannnique17 it’s just the nostalgia from watching that era of rallying as a young kid. Plus, it’s a fairly obscure car that wasn’t massively successful, which increases its appeal in my eyes. And the livery is stunning :)
I'm not a huge fan of the new livery, but that SF-71H is still gorgeous and one of the best looking Ferraris in recent times.
Ferrari should have brought any of the 90 v12s

The F1 cars weren't trying to do fast times. I wouldn't be surprised if any one of the more modern F1 cars would beat it easily. Though, they also aren't built for this track necessarily.
The turbocharger is so loud on that RB16b, I'm not used to hearing it so prominently on the V6 hybrid cars.
That sound tells me all I need to know about the electric cars

@@iDeezo It's not the same engine (R26B). Every 4-rotor you see running today that isn't in an original car like the 787B is a custom 4-rotor build.

Tbh, the HP livery on SF71H looks horrible, original was best
this video is all about epic sounds, and the comments on all socials for all recent Goodwood editions are clear , EV;s are silly . even that Spurling MCmurtyburty or whatever is a snooze fest. Cars should make nice sounds, its as important as the looks and feel. No sound = no emotion and Goodwood is all about emotion. Do a separate EV event and see how little people want to come.
Red bull looks like it's having a hard time getting traction

Max Verstappen really did not want to be there did he? Did just one run up the hill, the most boring run of an F1 car up the hill I've ever seen, no theatrics whatsoever, barely any waving to the crowd, did the interview on the house balcony and was back in his jet and leaving the country within an hour...
