  • -Check out my website. I would be happy to make an unfinished guitar, bass, or any string instrument for you. The standard method to support what I do here, both as Ideas and projects that you will see on the channel. Do you have an idea that you think would look awesome in one of these videos? Let's make it! If you need a router template set to make your design, I make those too!

    Thanks to Oak Studios for the music; I'm trying something different, and so far, I like it. Check them out, and let me know what you think of the music.

    young man, i need to get a CNC to make my own necks. What do you recommend? Do i need a 24" x 48" or will a 24" x 24" work? What model should i get? i wanna put this in my garage and will do these necks for my own personal use not selling these

      I would get one of the AvidCNC machines I would recommend the 24x48.

      @@TwoCherriesIns it's $4k, that's alot. What's the best for under $2k?

      I haven't used any machines in that class, In my opinion, If you want to make necks, the Avid style machine is the least expensive option and they are all going to be around 5k and a bunch of work to get running.

      @@johnmiller9219 Try to build yours i have some plans for really good DIY CNC machines, I havent build any yet because i am saving money to buy one already made since I dont have much time to build one. Check kronosrobotics but still you goint ot spend around 3k for one with those dimensions.

    If I'm not mistaken the shapoko utilizes GRBL control. I would ditch their software and use open builds control. While it doesn't get rid of the machine limitations that you mentioned it definitely improves the software experience.

      I will have to give the open builds control a try and see how it compares to Mach 3.

    I'll be watching! So is the 48x48 the cutting area or the frame size. I've been working on my own design and it seems like the cutting area is about 8" less than the total dimension. Sound about right? Thanks.

      @TwoCherriesIns  Před 3 lety

      The cutting area on the machine I'm building here is 50" x 50", the footprint is a bit more.

      I have a Onefinity specifically for guitars. Been designing on Fusion 360. I'm damn close, but have every confidence that it'll be able to do exactly what I need. 😎
