When I was 12 years old, I was selected to be part of a choir at a new school opening dedication. This was the song we sang. I've not heard this song in over 40 years even though pieces of it would pop into my head. WOW Thank you so much for the song and the memory it brings.

I really did love hearing all of the songs that the BOYS ALOUD SANG a lot of them brought tears to my eyes . This song here was played and sang at our Graduation Exercise in Hi school which was 3 years ago. I am now in college.
Ironically, we sang it as a choir for my high school graduation, as well, although many years ago, now (1975), in Northern Illinois, in the USA. Still one of the best songs of Rogers & Hammerstein and one of the most inspirational songs I've EVER heard, bar none!!! Thanks, Only Boys Aloud, for keeping this song alive!!!
I just watched this performance as well as watching their initial appearance on Britain’s Got Talent as well as watching their music from ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ DAILY. THIS performance had me tearing up. What a talented bunch. . .carrying on the Welsh tradition begun by the earliest coal miners of males singing together hundreds of years ago.

Welsh choirs are definitely the best in the world. Most Welsh people cam sing and also harmonize beautifully. I'm pitch perfect. I'm part Welsh. That's why. Thank goodness. I look forward to the day when both Scotland and Wales become independent of England. Greetings from beautiful Tennessee, home of Country Music! I suspect most of the singer's here have Welsh roots.

My Mum always said the most beautiful voices come from Wales. I grew up listening to her and my Uncle always singing at get together with the families, Edwards and Owens. I guess you couldn’t get any more Welsh than that.
