This whole scene was fantastic! This is TBBT I signed up for. They ruined it later when all of them became couples. I couldn't watch any episodes in their entirety after season six.
There are few things more unattractive and annoying as jealousy.

When the director said he used the grant money to get Kim’s grand father out of NK, right there Sheldon had the director at his whim, why you can’t use grant money for anything else’s except equipment for the the science facility

Why How is it 'advantage' for Kim?
Because if it wasn't for his escape from North Korea he would have graduated at the same age Sheldon did, but without everyone pampering him and making his life easier (like everyone around Sheldon did). Plus, he's got people skills, which Sheldon lacks.
