With sandblaster you can removing the rust from old objects.

@@rainerdoll1 bin zwar auch kein experte aber da der sandstrahler vom kompressor "befeuert" wird reicht dat vom kompressor wohl aus.außerdem stand dat ausgangsmaterial ja vorher auch unter druck also ist dat in punkto material und wandstärke wohl ok.in der infobox steht ja auch dat mit 7 - 8 bar gearbeitet wird... 🤔 3 bar sind auf der bereifung von meinem fahrrad drauf und der sandstrahler steht ja nicht 24/7 unter diesem druck

Then a cut-off piece of a plastic bottle is duck taped for a funnel.
You are winding the Teflon Tape in the wrong direction....It should be wound in the clockwise direction.....so , it wont tear or jam when the fitting is tightened.

What a great set-up you made. Very clever!! If you blast an item in a tray, you can recycle the grit for another project and that way you dot end up with sand everywhere. You filmed this perfectly so anyone of your viewers can make one too. Thanks!

классно получилось!
Про намотку уплотнения в сторону закручивания уже писали. Лучше полиамидную нить юзать - чуточку дороже, зато надежность, простота и удобство на голову выше. Плюс возможность позиционировать соединяемые фитинги (фум это не допускает).
Сажать грипсы и шланги лучше на мыльную водичку. Легче надевать, и держаться будет намного лучше (мыло после высыхания воды будет играть роль разъемного герметика). Кстати грипсы эти так себе - неопрен китайский слишком мягкий, рвется и охотно впитывает грязь с рук. Либо резиновые ручки, либо текстильная изолента лучше не придумать.
Про давление, расход воздуха/дроби ничего автор не сказал, а очень интересно!

Is there any risk of this tank exploding? I've seen some videos of it happening to less rusted (and way less welded on) tanks. I have this amazing compressor, but I'm now scared of using it because it had water in it for about 2 years.

Melbourne ... 🙄 other side if the Earth. Very far from here! 🚢 I just did'nt understand - what kind of material He made the nozzle from? Looks like factory made. The people (homemakers))) usually use the spark plug's isolator for it.

You make this Look so easy. My hats off to you. The tapes on wrong for the experts but they don’t even say how great the item looks or the quality of your workmanship. I love it when the little guy or home builder shows how good things can be when you have heart.

Rafał Świerczynski i haven’t seen pipes with left hand threads yet, depending on the pipe fitter, it might give you the impression that it’s left hand thread, tho chances are very slim.
I totally agre on, let say, standard pipes. But there is more usage of teflon tape ;) and i was learnd - wrap tape in direction you rotate your pipe/fitter... but in general - clockwise ;)
Rafał Świerczynski that’s correct, always wrap in the tightening direction.
I would also add that depending on pipe thread quality, you should use more or less teflon tape turns, sealing paste is more useful, get one if you have the chance, it’s affordable and more efficient.
It just occurred to me that by the time you are done with all this projects you might end with a small beach on the back of your house, just add a pool! 😂

Great job, I worked for blasting and coating for about 5 years, we did oil tankers and supertankers. I went to work at DON shipyard for year. Then went to over aircraft DON F-14, A-6... We used coal slag, glass bead, rice hulls, aluminum oxide, baking soda... Then did shot peening to reduce fatigue in high-stress parts. Again great job.
Excellent, though with all your great workmanship, I would’ve thought that a grip/handle should’ve been put near the nozzle hand for easier use.
2:59 You should apply teflon tape clockwise (in the direction of tightening), so that it doesn't bunch up as you attach the fitting.

I was thinking the same thing, but then I thought that bunching up may enhance the seal.
@@stevesf28 If anything, the uneven thickness of bunched-up Teflon tape will promote leaks.

Он выдает 340 л. на выходе. Для сопла 3 мм нужно 500-600 л. приходится делать паузы чтобы накачал воздух.

@@user-qp6kr3po9i если посмотришь, у него фумка каждый раз задирается при закручивании. работать будет, но иногда из-за этого может в итоге не загерметизироваться стык.

Очень впичатляет. Мо отец ещё90 году такое сконструировал. А для меньшего росхода песка и адекватно направленого факела с песком на выходе сделал насадку из победита с отверстием диаметром 3-4милиметра.👍👍👍
Very nice project and I liked the use of the "ball-valves" for applying the media; did you have a "dead-man" somewhere in your system in case of an accident or did I miss it completely.
Pretty sure I have enough parts in the shop and my garage to build one of those since I have a few motorcycles and a m/c trailer which needs to be taken down to bare metal to be primed and painted so it looks like that is my project for this week.
Thank you for sharing an excellent build, and as long as the tape hasn't failed yet, that means it must have been applied correctly. LOL.

@@daniellago2013 realmente no es asi, . se llena de agua el tanque para evacuar cualquier gas combustible que pueda estar en el tanque ya que con el tanque lleno de agua ya no hay espacio para otro gas y vaciando el agua se puede tener la certeza de dejar limpio de gases el tanque. esto es porque cuando se suelda o se esmerila el tanque hay chispas que si hubiera un gas combustible cautivo del tan que podria explosionar causando tragedias y/o muertes. las fisuras o pinchazos se verifican haciendo una prueba de hermeticidad llenando el tanque con aire a cierta presion.

This guy just showed "ONE" method into making a sandblaster and all of the sudden, all engineers break loose and just point out one method of using tape while the function of the sandblaster works.

On a video with a lot of views I expect some of the thumbs down are actually just miss-clicks, and since people are so varied you are going to have people who thumbs down for any odd ball reason. I stopped being bothered by that stuff long ago. It is the up-loaders who disable the thumbs and comments that bug me. (Usually I won't watch their videos again).

For what you spent in materials you could have bought one already made. But you did make a nice sandblaster. Excellent!!!! I use to be the one that said why buy it when I can build it. But age plays a big part in that.

@@tormozzzful Очень желательно сделать конус и приварить снизу баллона, тогда сыпаться будет куда лучше песок. И кран взять задвижку, а не шаровый, им регулировать точнее получается.
Dude, you run your Teflon tape backwards when you apply it. It will do better if you roll it with the threads versus against.

С хорошим то компрессором можно пескоструить,а попробуете с китайской балалайкой, плюнете на писькаструй и выкинете этот баллон в металлолом за ненадобностью и бесполезностью
Для китайской балалайки можно использовать сопла со свечек, есть некоторые свечи, у которых снизу электрод очень тонкий, сопло получается 2 мм, даже дохлый китаец справится, нужно только песок сеять хорошо. Ну и на али можно заказать 2мм из карбида бора.
Easier way, you can just buy this thing professionally made at Harbor freight for rly cheap😭

I usually put my cast cook wear in a hot camp fire to clean it . Does a wonderful job for free and no chemical residue . "Deeds not words"
