When I was very little, I would wake up early morning to the sound of my mum running a bath. The running taps and the boiler warming up were very soothing sounds that made me feel cosy and snug.
This is the closest thing to sounds of my childhood I could ever get.. I grew up in a bedroom that had the "airing cupboard" which contained a 6" water tank that constantly filled with water.. i used to wake up in the middle of the night and go flush the toilet, run back to bed and listen to the water rushing through the pipes into the tank. Always the cozy room of the house and gave me so much comfort still to this day the sound of running water sends me off to sleep. This one in particular is the closest sound and 100% my "my go to" sleep sound almost every night. Thankyou x
I had exact same sort of room. Used to love it when my mum or Dad had a bath after putting me and my siblings to bed so I could listen to the bath fill.
For whatever reason this is the most soothing sound for me. I remember waking up early before school and lying on the floor while the bathtub would fill up. I felt safe in the bathroom. My mom would be pretty pissed off and yelling in the mornings and this would drown that out. I would take solace doing this. And now in my 30’s I listen to this when I feel like I need my nerves soothed or to feel safe or to help me sleep.
Same! For some reason the bathroom feels like a safe space. The sound of water running is very soothing along with some calm music that doesn’t have words tops it off
Same. Sometimes when i was little id sit there as the bath filled up and covered a towel or blanket over me as id lay down on a rug or something and would close my eyes.

I remember when I was little whenever I felt bad my parents would go run me a bath and warm up my towels for me while I waited for it to fill and they'd hum songs to me 💞 that was the best. What I would give to feel that again
Sadly as adults we're always in a hurry and take showers instead. But yeah,I miss having my mom running a bath for me,I recall staying in for a long time. RIP childhood.
Whenever a bath was run I'd lay down a towel next to the tub, fold another towel as a pillow, then lay down and cover myself with a third towel, pretend I was in a cave, all safe and sound, press my ear up against the bath, while blocking my other ear off, and feel the sound of the running water reverberate through my body, sometimes peak through the small patch of light near my feet, like the entrance to a cave far away, sometimes rest my arm out on the cold tiles on the floor or the side of the bath, I await the one who has done the same...
While I didn't do all of that, every time that somebody was in the shower, (and maybe when the bath water was running down, making the sound it always makes, I can't properly remember.) I was always listening to it on the wall in my dining room. Such a soothing ass sound.
Have watched this every night for over 2 years, brings back memories of my childhood, my bed was up against the same wall as the bath so when my parents ran their baths once we were in bed this is all I could hear , so calming ❤

When I was little id always listen to my mom going about her morning in the bathroom, and would get extra cozy in bed when she turned the bath water on. This along with the sound of a hair drier are very soothing for me because I fell asleep listening to it
Michelle Mouton yep. That extra 30 min. Of sleep is like the best thing ever felt ... it’s when the noise stops and ya hear the footsteps approaching ur room for the inevitable, knowing you have to get up .. for reals that time .. and it always seemed so much colder in the mornings when ya had to get up early but didn’t want to lol 😂. I don’t wanna be up today ...
A lot of comments are about morning bathes and i am like:did people in older days took bathes instead of showering in the morning? Who takes a bath in the morning in 2020..?
When I was younger when my parents woke me up for school I would always wake up groggy and not get ready to wake up so I would take my blanket with me to the bathroom lock the door and turn on the bath and nap on the floor . Man the sound of the water and the bathroom fan were just a combo I couldn’t resist.
Do you really want to go and submerge yourself into a small enclosed body of water that is teaming with the bodily filth, urine, smegma, menstral leakage, snot and a multitude of bacteria from horde's of strangers. Enjoy your swim
sometimes i'd lie down without a towel below me...on the freezing cold tiles, but have a towel draped over my whole body, right next to the tub, while the hot water filled up, and splashed its tiny droplets over ...the amazing asmr/frission/chill up my spine was amazing. its 10pm in Melbourne Australia, im just about to go into my en suite and have a hot shower in the dark, with a faint light from my bed side lamp minutely shining in.
Oh my goddddddddddddddd !!! This is the most realxing thing on earth! So many memories of when I was a child and I used to have hot baths... Instead of diving in when the bathtub was filled, I used to lie down while the water would flow.. Now I am too big. My own home will have a bigger one ahah.
I keep waiting for when the tub was going to overflow someone would then pull out and we start refilling the tub again. 😂 due to 2 back injuries all of my adult life I have had to take showers only. I had actually forgotten what that sounded like and it is very soothing.
I really like this sound, as a kid when my mum would shower I would get a pillow and blanket and lay in between the bath and toilet, (it's clean) and try to sleep, I would also do it when I would be having a bath, while it was filling up I'd be lead down until my mum said that it was full. It was so relaxing and this makes me tingle the same way that did 😌 I use this every night and I get to sleep easily just thinking of myself down by the bath again sleeping because I'm older and I don't fit (Is tested Lol) Thank you for the sound
I would do the same thing when my mom would take a shower, except I’d lay in the bath tub across from it with a pillow and my beanie babies. Love love love the sound! So cozy.

Gonna hop on the bandwagon and say that even though I’m 19, this reminds me of when i was younger & I would get home from school in the winter, get done doing my homework, and my mom was getting ready to give me a bath

I'm so happy I'm not as weird as I thought I was ..after reading all the comments ..I too used to curl up on the bathroom floor and listen to the water fill up or fall asleep as I listen to the shower going ..
this reminds me of when i was a kid. i've been an insomniac my entire life and getting, older it's gotten worse, but when i was a kid, i'd hide outside the bathroom when i couldn't sleep and when me parents had a bath, i'd lay on the floor and listen to all the sounds of the water going through the pipes. unfortunately, when i was 10, i couldn't do that anymore, being too big for the area outside the bathroom so i started sleeping on the floor. we used to have the heating on every night and so i would lay with me head right by the radiator so i could listen to the water running through the pipes. sorry, had to reminisce. also, man, that bill must have been... FLOODING wallet for how long the bath ran (i know it's looped, i can hear the point where it loops, i just wanted to make a joke)
I’m pretty sure I’ll sleep with this because when I take a bath and I hear the water running I get a little sleepy 😴 and once I actually fell asleep on accident so I flooded the bathroom /:
Hailey B too bad they can’t somehow capture the smell of the coffee haha .. ahh the wonders of technology would be pretty cool if that option was available haha. Now watch google or Apple come out with a scratch n sniff button or something 😂( totally jk )
Hey nice video! Is it possible if you could make a video with the camera at the bottom of the bathtub with just a little water and no more filling for some hours? It's weird, but dreaming about being in a bathtub with very little water somehow makes me extremely relaxed. I unfortantly do not own any bathtub myself, so i kinda want to dream about taking a bath xD
I AM LYING IN MY BED IN MY STARSHIP AS I FLY PEACEFULLY THROUGH THE UNIVERSE LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW AT THE PLANETS AND STARS GOING BY AS THE BATHTUB IN MY STARSHIP FILLS WITH WATER AND I DRIFT OFF TO SLEEP.
@@billamac1 It depends on how much gas you have and the pressure it exerts. If you're a Mexican who eats lots of beans you can power your star-ship with nothing but fart gas. That's why Mexico will soon lead the world in space. Btw, you bring up an interesting question: you know in Star Trek and Star Wars etc, why do the people and objects in the space ships not float, like people do in the real International Space Station? I never thought about that before. Why do Darth Vader and Capt. Kirk and the others act as if gravity is letting them stand on the floors of their star-ships as if they were standing on Earth?
@@andyfield7397 My starship is so vast that it has its own gravitational field. Some of my rooms are so large they have their own weather patterns and produce rain, which I collect and run in my bath-tub. It really helps me sleep. Thanks for asking!
Hi,Thank you! This is my goto post for sleeping and relaxation.I have chronic insomnia and multitonal tinnitus and this has been one of the only things that has helped:)Thanks.
When i was young and felt ill id wrap a big towel over me and sit with my ear pressed against the side of the bath while it ran and the sound of the water was so relaxing, may have narrowly avoided a few overflows due to falling asleep though. Does anyone know of any videos with the sound of water going through the pipes? Before i have to take a spontaneous bath
I fell in love with relaxing to water sounds when I was sick and slept in my parents room and they would bath or shower the sound was much better back then
ah yes, the forceful hand of a priests love as he shoves ya under the water and when you come up, you get slapped by an oddly shaped sausage... or was that only me?
Its so fun gng through all these comments❤, even i loved the sound of bathfilling when i was young bt unfortunately i was not that privileged to bring blanket in bathroom and sleep😂😂
Very nice. Both the audio and the visuals are relaxing. Definitely a favorite. But I have a request. Request: Could you make a one or two hour version of this? (The sound of the running water is the best part). Reason: I don’t watch videos at bedtime, I listen. And I only want it to run (and eat up battery) for 30-45 minutes. So I usually scroll to the end and set it for that length of time. But at 13 hours it’s difficult to clip it that short without pushing the slider to the *end*. *And* the water shuts off right around the time I want to set it at. Thanks! I’ll check your other vids to see if there’s something else that will do.
This is amazing I adore this, loved these noises as a child and when I'm sick or feel vulnerable, now I'm pregnant it soothes me and eases my Hyperemis, Thank you for this video :)
I remember when I were a kid. Listening to the bath run the sound of the tap running would give me pins and needs and shivers. I would sit cross legged and hide cosily under the sink.

Glad to know that other people find the underwater sound of a bath tub so calming and peaceful ✌️✌️✌️
Came here to see everybody else who laid beside the tub while the shower ran as a kid. Im impressed 😅
Yes and being in bed when my parents ran the bath , a weird one I did was sit on the floor against the warm tumble dryer and sleep to the noise 😂😂
sometimes i'd lie down without a towel below me...on the freezing cold tiles, but have a towel draped over my whole body, right next to the tub, while the hot water filled up, and splashed its tiny droplets over ...the amazing asmr/frission/chill up my spine was amazing. its 10pm in Melbourne Australia, im just about to go into my en suite and have a hot shower in the dark, with a faint light from my bed side lamp minutely shining in.
I've listened to this same tub for years
Please God never remove it...it saves me
Same. It's the only real thing that keeps me going to sleep.
Good old days happy memories, this sound is very nostalgic to me. Thank you!

Love that people do this - helps me sleep with tinnitus- so relaxing
So cozy.

Deep sound that makes me feel relaxed and comforted😇
this reminds me of when i was a kid. i've been an insomniac my entire life and getting, older it's gotten worse, but when i was a kid, i'd hide outside the bathroom when i couldn't sleep and when me parents had a bath, i'd lay on the floor and listen to all the sounds of the water going through the pipes. unfortunately, when i was 10, i couldn't do that anymore, being too big for the area outside the bathroom so i started sleeping on the floor. we used to have the heating on every night and so i would lay with me head right by the radiator so i could listen to the water running through the pipes. sorry, had to reminisce. also, man, that bill must have been... FLOODING wallet for how long the bath ran (i know it's looped, i can hear the point where it loops, i just wanted to make a joke)

It’s cool to look at the water ripples and waves and the refraction of the light as it looks like it’s just coming toward u rolling forward in waves !
I’m pretty sure I’ll sleep with this because when I take a bath and I hear the water running I get a little sleepy 😴 and once I actually fell asleep on accident so I flooded the bathroom /:

Hey nice video! Is it possible if you could make a video with the camera at the bottom of the bathtub with just a little water and no more filling for some hours? if you fart in the tub in space which way do the bubbles go?
@@billamac1 It depends on how much gas you have and the pressure it exerts. If you're a Mexican who eats lots of beans you can power your star-ship with nothing but fart gas. That's why Mexico will soon lead the world in space.
Btw, you bring up an interesting question: you know in Star Trek and Star Wars etc, why do the people and objects in the space ships not float, like people do in the real International Space Station? I never thought about that before. Why do Darth Vader and Capt. Kirk and the others act as if gravity is letting them stand on the floors of their star-ships as if they were standing on Earth?
how does the water stay in the tub - are you spinning very fast

Very nice. Both the audio and the visuals are relaxing. Definitely a favorite.
But I have a request.
Request:
Could you make a one or two hour version of this? (The sound of the running water is the best part).
Reason:
I don’t watch videos at bedtime, I listen.
