I was already a fan, and The Ocean was one of my favourite songs of Richard's, but as a sound engineer in Dublin I've seen great bands come and go and give great performances over the years. Trust me when I say that The Ocean, in all of its extended glory, in Vicar Street during the Lady's Bridge tour was one of the most unforgettably mesmeric gig experiences I've ever had.

I moved to a seaside town after a mental breakdown and the ocean was one of the songs that I listened to on repeat some nights its very deep emotional when you talk about the space you need and life so hard to live up to ,you don't say anything about my own life and why would ,you dodnt reveal whether or not you it was about a woman or a friend you'd maybe lost or a parent that hurt you in someway but theres somethingin The Oceans that said everything to me
