It's funny when people complain about the combat system in AC Syndicate, but love it in Spiderman or Batman
because one is a assassin's creed with no resemblance of a batman or spider man game and the other are super hero games

Master assassin did a video based on his observations and opinions, just the same as this channel. It is better to have both videos rather than one or the other. That way, we have multiple perspectives.
Unity is better in parkour and combat but syndicate is a better game overall in my opinion.

I might be wrong since I haven't played Syndicate in a while...but I do believe Evie has small different animates to Jacob
Specifically the running and jumping, otherwise they’re the same

Jacob and evie have some unique and some shared animations for combat with every weapon, their stealth attacks with the hidden blade, and of course walking and running. Lydia has the same animations as evie tho.

I like how during the shoving civilians test Arno has an invisible forcefield where as Jacob/Evie have the black flag/rogue animation.
Loved both games! Jacob had the better gameplay and functionality, but Arno had the better told story, I think. I think they are very similarly good.

i guess because of it being little slow paced but combat in Syndicate is good too it feels like in a flow
Syndicates mashing combat is so annoying. But that's syndicate right? Like in Odyssey, you can really hit and defend in a bunch of creative ways.
@@DeepsuThapa Syndicates combat overall feels more responsive. Theres also things in it that unity shouldn't have removed in the first place like dual counter.

i noticed how if you press the run up button or whatever it’s called while running then Arno will jump like in the original games but Jacob won’t
also if you repeatedly shoot a group of civilians then jacob can kill about 6 civilians before desynchronization
I didn’t give syndicate a chance because they dumbed down the parkour system not allowing me to make the assassin jumps I’m used to and my hood doesn’t stay on
There is a mod for hood always on Nexus mods

@@godslonely didn’t give it a chance mainly because it was a downgrade and parkour felt restricted I could’ve lived with the hood part

just both game is amazing and beautiful world
personally, I think both games have their strengths and weaknesses:
1. unity has more options and larger varieties of weapons from each type of range and type of melee weapons, plus also the armor and cosmetics, the downside is that it lags as hell - constant every time, bug after bug even until today never got fixed completely. my PC may be old but at least it can handle games like metro exodus or even ac game series to the odyssey, but when I played Unity, even I do my best to lowing the graphics - change my PC settings for performance, and the game is still lag and very hard to play + navigate when running and climbing.
2. syndicate, on the other hand, I can play it near perfectly, some times have lags but minor. the downside of syndicate is the weapons and armors are not like unity because it lacks variants from each type and model. Also if you want to unlock you must participate in events to unlock it, which for me is really annoying.
overall, for me, i think syndicate has much better gameplay than unity but that's my personal idea so don't judge me.
Anyway my favourite Is unity

Still puzzled why ubi didnt just combine the good aspects of these games into one.
Unity has the better combat and movement. Syndicate had the better stealth and black box assassinations.
Unity had buggy stealth and not well polished black box assassinations. Syndicate literally crippled movement (no jump...) these fused together could have been something good
Speed of climbing fast in unity because buildings are big in the unity then syndicate

Unity bro. I think syndicate is a great game,i don't know why everyone complained about grappling hook,but i like it so much. Unity have better parkour,map,more fluid combat and atmosphere. But syndicate have great missions and sometimes combat

Syndicate without doubt is better
Arno fights like an apprentice almost all the game.
Also the distribution of activities in the map is quite better in syndicate
The high jumps is something that i missed too in Syndicate
But both games had a great weakness, you cannot switch the hidden blades as you will.
Syndicate>Unity, simple as that. Jacob and Evie have personality, animations are *MOSTLY* more fluid and the game itself isn't that buggy and runs a lot better.

Jacob is one of my favourite protagonists, and he is as underrated and misunderstood as his game, by some fans, I reckon.
@@chrismoore5333 You are absolutely right, Jacob is underestimated due to his nature, but don't forget that he is well trained, has a good arsenal, he is an athlete and has full experience in fighting and handling the hidden blade. As for me, one of the best protagonists in the AC, is in the top 5
@@kinggangsta124 I entirely agree with you! Some of the best protagonists get misunderstood, unfortunately, and Jacob is a prime example. Also, he has some of the best skills and equipment in the franchise.
@@chrismoore5333 I think that Jacob is even better than Arno, Edward, Eivor, Cassandra and can be on equal terms with Ezio, Connor, Adewale, Bayek and Altair.
@@kinggangsta124 I feel that, mate! Jacob is easily in the top five. Jacob, Connor, and Arno are all so misunderstood by some fans. It is a shame because they have some really good sotry arcs and character depth when you do understand them. I'd love for ubisoft to do a crossover update with unity and syndicate that features Jacob in paris during the late 1800s. Arno could be trying to stop Napoleon's invasion of England during his time, from behind the scenes. Jacob would be dealing with the birth of modern terrorism in paris. If ubisoft drew connections between the two storylines to make it one story, that would be awesome!
Syndicate is such a huge downgrade. Like there's not that many outfits, nor colors, you can't mix and match. All the weapons are literally the same just different looks and stats. No heavy weapons, nor long or anything. The combat is garbage, no one wants to mash square button repeatedly. The animations are just too long in this game. It's cool that you can put your hood on and off but I hate having to forcefully crouch when i have it on. I need the courage to finish it and I'm in sequence 5.

@@I-need-2-win Syndicate doesn't have weapons like swords and giant axes due to the weapon laws at the time for historical accuracy, similar to how altair wasn't able to use crossbows due to them being anachronistic.

Are you all kidding me or what? Unity has a living and diverse world, in which something happens at every meter, and every 2 meters there is some kind of task. In the Syndicate, the world is stupidly empty, there is nothing to do there at all.
Capturing territories gets boring after 15 minutes of play, and of the missions from the characters, out of all available ones, 2-3 maximum stood out with interesting missions, and the rest - steal a wagon, rob a ship, etc.
Therefore, I am ready to put up with Unity’s jambs, since there is something to do there. Ubisoft killed an undoubtedly good Syndicate due to working too quickly on the game and the desire to earn more money from players.
and of course, thanks for the mods on Unity, guys from Nexus

Which game is *THE best. And for me it's Syndicate. Unity only has the parkour top, but the most fun gameplay is in Syndicate!
