Let's not forget Keaton's final film "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum". He was 70 years old and still managed to do his own stunts.

Yes, I wanted to do a second part of his stunts with all his movies from 1929 to his death but it was to long so I gave up.

He just wasn't hurt, in one of his movie, he broke his neck but didn't knows it, years after that accident, the doctor could see that his neck had healed on its own😵

A couple of times, he almost didn’t. His last wife Eleanor commented that during the climactic footage of Our Hospitality, you could almost see him drown. And during the famous scene from Steamboat Bill, Jr. (yep, THAT one), the cameraman (no pun intended here) turned his head away even as he was cranking the camera.

It wasn't cut, you can see a light flash but it wasn't cut. You can see the man with the case opening his mouth or talking when Keaton jumps in him. Nobody ever resolved this trick, but I'm shure there's a hatch behind them, you can see body marks, black tapes on the wall. In the movie, on the next take they open a secret door which turn on herself but the wall isn't the same, and the tapes disapeared.
I think the wall was cut to make buster and his college path, and then when buster passes through him, the other one just got to walk and take place, and the wall closes behind him. When keaton jumps, the door is open and the other one just put his head out.
