He had such a beautiful physique! It says a lot about his dedication to the art of physical comedy, being in perfect shape to get the gags just right. I really love Buster❣️
@@ellentravers7889 Yes! 😍 I love his romantic scenes, so full of innocence and yet so passionate. He expressed love so beautifully, movie makers today should take notes.
The camping trip was hilarious, the boxing training was hilarious, the women fighting over the chocolates was hilarious, the fight was believable & the truth was quite touching. I think this comic actor got a future.
Never knew about Buster...knew about Chaplin and Hardy. What a peculear ,hilarious and funny and great comedy actor .Really 👏wonderful person of the century. Really 👍great.❤
Keaton's much funnier than Chaplin. His sensibilities are more modern than Chaplin, who is a sentimentalist and almost Victorian. I would encourage you to seek out more of Keaton's film--"The General;" "The Navigator;" "Seven Chances;" "Steamboat Bill, Jr."
Well in my opinion he was the greatest. Hopefully you will seek out his movies. They are incredible. The stunts! Buster was a beast! Very acrobatic. The Railrodder (?) one of his very late movies was pretty cool to. He travels across Canada in a mini rail car.
I thougt that i'd seen all Mr.Keaton movies, but this one is new for me! Wonderful! Energetic an emotional film. Tears came to my eyes when , at the end, his wife says: "I'm glad".
When I first watched this a few weeks ago, I didn't know what the wife was going to do or say when he admitted it was all a lie. The best line in the whole film is "I'm glad". Perfect. Whole film is glorious from start to finish.
Really enjoyed the movie. Very funny story line. In the end he gets tremendous strength and beats hi boxing opponent in the dressing room. Just proves the good guy wins in the end! The boxing fight and the girl! Sounds like a wonderful American ending to me!
Alfredo and I have the same idea about "roughing it." This movie is great! I'm not used to Buster being the Tall One in the long shots. That took some getting used to.
I actually met a guy whose job it was to light a rich guy’s cigarette and he carried an ashtray and flicked the ashes, too. I asked what that job is called and he said, “I’m his ‘shadow.’”
Yeah, his films went downhill went his contract was sold to another studio. They took away his ability to create art he just went through the motions! ☹️
If you watch the Douglas Fairbanks movie Zorro the bartender is Keaton's Butler in this one. 👍 I love to watch older movies for the clothing, the manners, buildings, and the feeling of living in those times. Also @6:00 those quail don't live in my part of the country. When I saw them in cartoons I thought they were pulling my leg because quail here don't have the feather over it's head... 😋
A better director than Chumplin. A better actor than Chumplin. A better gag designer. A better stunt man. A better story teller. A BETTER COMEDIAN. By far the best. BTW... Keaton designed many of the best physical comedy routines for the Lucy Show.Keaton outlasted Champlin by decades.
That boombox on the side of the tent come with a CD player?🤔 Man they were ahead 9f their time. And get a look at that cain that turns into a sitting contraption for buster out in the woods.
The AI or whatever clean up was done here and the addition of artificial film artifacts (and sepia tone) isn't working for me, I can only watch a few seconds. But if it brings a new audience to the genius that was Mr. Keaton, kudos.
Buster Keaton will never be beaten for comedy

He was beautiful too
Definitely hot. Lovely physique and face, particularly in this film.

Excellent, sublime Buster Keaton. Rien n'a changé de nos jours depuis ce film...
No defrauda jamás... Hermosa historia. Eterno Buster.
I have not laughed like this for a very long time 😂😂😂😂😂😂
the best actor comedy ever BUSTER KEATON
Superb. Never seen or heard of this film before. As usual, Buster is brilliant in his timing, acrobatics and energy.
A genius.

Man he takes a lot in this one, that last fight was hectic

Well here’s one you likely missed: “The Railrodder”, made in 1965. Yes, 1965.: czcams.com/video/epfOOodUzHI/video.htmlsi=NxnVEp_ddt4ui25y

Fabulous enjoyment to watch .
1:13:35 BUSTER KEATON YOU'RE BRILLIANT
Really enjoyed the movie. Very funny story line. In the end he gets tremendous strength and beats hi boxing opponent in the dressing room. Just proves the good guy wins in the end! The boxing fight and the girl! Sounds like a wonderful American ending to me!
I love how they had to make out that he was super-scrawny but then he takes off his shirt and you can clearly see that he’s kinda already ripped lol
😉💪
The man was hot.
Alfredo and I have the same idea about "roughing it." This movie is great! I'm not used to Buster being the Tall One in the long shots. That took some getting used to.
😂😂😂😂
thanks for uploading
लाजवाब कृति समय सीमा के पार

Reminds me of when i was misbehaving back in middle school so the teacher wanted me to follow her round like a shadow.
Ele sensacional, além de ser melhor comediante era tb diretor dis próprios filmes 🎥
Yeah, his films went downhill went his contract was sold to another studio. They took away his ability to create art he just went through the motions! ☹️
He brought out the best in his cast for this one. They never should have stifled him 💔

I also love watching old movies for the architecture and fashion, and the formal language and manners.
INCREDIBLE
The best
Como todos os outros filmes, Incrível ❤
❤
Thanks

How old are you?? You don't sound very bright.
The Apartment Building at 3:58 is the "Talmadge" in Los Angeles.
the song in the beginning sounds catchy
Esta película es una de las mejores y mas simples de la mejor época de Keaton
Отличный фильм!

The cane was known as a shooting stick and was used as a support while shooting game. They are still sold.
That a butler !
The original "fake it till you make it"
Domage qu'il n'y a pas de sous titre en français, mais bon cest un bon film.
Si vous voulez avoir les sous-titres en français, il faut chercher le film traduit sous le titre "Le dernier round".
Wow 🌹🌹🌹♥️
40:42 i felt that jealousy 😅😅😅😅
His mama did it to him. 😂😂😂
At first I thought this movie was about a butler not a boxer named butler
SNITZ!!!
I know, I love him. He’s so funny. He was in a few of Buster’s movies.
No wonder movies are so sterile today . They used all possible plots in last hundred years
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
How?
0:24 it starts
😂😂😂😂😂
On me traduire svp le titre de ce film merci.
La traduction littérale est : Le majordome combattant. Le titre français de "Battling butler" est "Le dernier round".
