whistle register!!
Falsetto is modulating a tone one octave above your normal modal to get a vibrating sound.
Whistle register is what Kelsie used, which is higher than head voice, which she used in the song right before the whistle. She actually covered chest, mix, head, AND whistle all in one song, which is an excellent example of range :)
Bang Bang girl is powerfull and excellent control like jessie......they both should sing together

She was so nervous but man she had range.
I get nerves, but she was all over the place, I'm sure she's really good but this was a terrible performance.
It's not shown on this video, but if you watch the full one, she's a massive Boy George fan.. He would have turned by his team was full, but decided instead to just straight up do a recording session with her and record her version of the song because he liked it so much. Took her backstage and explained to the parents that he was serious, and that they would record it together. etc.
I also believe it said she was 16?
That last girl O_o That was Fifth Element levels of pitch! ^_-

Cassandra Reese Not really - she did the same thing as Melanie Martinez (switching up the time signature), but other than that, it was her own thing.
@@ShowtuneSampler The time signature and the way it was sung were the same except for a run or note drop here or there but that's it.

ALL PERFORMANCES ARE INCREDIBLY AMAZING ! But I really liked the cover on the song of Kelly clarkson and on the song BANG BANG. These are just spectacular PERFORMANCES
I never knew I needed a jazz version of "Don't Speak" but I did. I needed it so much.

Lucy Griffiths - the girl who mixed italian and english - should have been chosen. The singing technicality I do not understand but It brought tears to my eyes. The saxophone was GREAT. Salute to the unnamed artist. Love from India.
