As a graduate of the BCMB program in the mid-1980s, I see many of the common values in a modern environment. Sol Snyder (neuroscience), Vernon Mountcastle (neurophysiology), Al Lehinger (Biochemistry), and many other [soon to be Nobel Prize winners] were faculty or postdocs "just down the hall." It was...and still is...a magic place to be a graduate student!
What is the admission procedure here...any idea?
I can’t wait to attend this school, it looks insanely focused.
I am looking forward doing this career ,its my passion doing this.
Imagine a major in Cellular & Molecular Biology and a major in electrical engineering/micro electronics. You could create a bionic chip that manipulates and or controll the nervous system. How about making a human as smart and as quick as google. Creating a micro bionic chip with the intelligence of google and implanting into a human.
